Beau's POV

Finding Melissa's closet I raid through it. She's in Florida and she doesn't know about half her items are left here. I rip through the shelves before finding her clothes from sophomore year before she started working out. Grace is small, and so are these clothes. I take them out along with a few pair of shoes I know she can't fit and pack them into a non-obvious choice of bag and stick them into my backpack. I'll give them to Grace tomorrow morning, I know she needs them.

After seeing her tonight, something has shifted and I know I care about her. I also know that she's scared, and she's hurt. I don't know what she's going though but I'm going to try my hardest and get her out of it. Grace is so beautiful she doesn't realize it and if I was to really get to know her I think she'd end up being a different person.

I walk through the house before throwing my football gear and backpack into my truck for school tomorrow.

I pack up my footballs and equipment before my mom pulls into the garage back from her meeting. She gets out grabbing her purse before walking to me. "How was Grace?" She asks as I nod.

"Best tutor yet. Doesn't stop me that she's beautiful." I tell her as she laugh and then nods. "That she is, the prettiest one that I've ever seen from the high school. I'm glad it's better, we're getting that GPA up Beau." She tells me as I nod. I know I am.

"Do you know where your dad is?" She asks as I follow her into the kitchen from the garage. He's having an affair, that's where he is.

"I don't know mom." I tell her as she sighs. "He said he's been staying at work late but it's seven already." She tells me as I still.

"Mom?" I ask as I grab her hands and sit her down at the table with me. I sit next to her as I hold her hand and rub it. I don't know how I'm going to tell her.

"Mom I saw him come into the garage with lipstick on his cheek and his shirt practically undone a few days ago." I mumble out as she stares at me. She doesn't speak as she pulls her hand away from mine. I had to tell her that he's a sick fuck of a man.

"I thought it had ended." She whispers out before wiping her tears. Ended? So this isn't the first time it's happened.

"Beau thank you baby. I love you. I'll be in the master." She tells me wiping her tears as she walks off. She leaves me as I see her take the tight bun out of her hair. She only does that after a long day but when she slips off her heels I know it.

I don't follow her as she leaves and then a knock comes to the door. I make my way though the house before the staff opens the front door to see Felicity. I told her to come over tonight, I'm ending our relationship.

"Hey babe." She tells me coming in as she finds me at the steps. The staff shut the doors as I thank them and grab her hip pulling her upstairs with me. We find my room as she sits down on my bed and pulls me to her.

"Why didn't you want to go to the party at Mandy's?" She asks holding my hips as she sits down on the bed in front of me. I always have thought that Felicity was one of the most beautiful women I'd ever seen, until I saw Grace. Grace is something I'll never be able to describe she's so perfect. Felicity, her attitude is what I'm hating about her. I don't know if what Grace said is true but I'm hoping that it's not.

"We need to talk." I tell her pulling her hands from me as I grab my desk chair and take the seat in front of her.

"Tell me what you said to Grace." I demand instantly as she sits. "What?" She asks as I nod.

"Tell me why Grace won't look at me and runs away from me like she's scared." I defend Grace as I sit.

"I told her to leave you alone." She admits as I nod. "What else did you say? Don't lie to me." I tell her.
