Chapter 27 - Happy Surprises

Kaylee's POV

Ever since that terrible night happened, I been feeling very sick. The police are still tracking down the guy who raped me. I know for sure that it was that guy from the club. Ugh I'm so stupid.

Anyways I'm in fourth period, geometry. My teacher Mr. Lynn gave us a thirty problem exercise, before leaving the class. As always the class was chaos. It was really hard to focus because Jason and Tyrone were having a rap battle. Geez.

I was on question twenty two when someone decided to open a bag of chips which had an unsatisfying smell. I turn the other way which the smell wasnt, but that took a turn for the worse. All of a sudden my stomach contracted and vomit propelled out my mouth. I heard a bunch of 'ews' and 'gross' before running to the bathroom. I busted in there and into the stall. After five minutes or so, I got up and stumbled out the bathroom. Then I felt so weak. I was heading back to mouth class, but I felt myself collapse to the ground everything goes dark.

"Hey Kaylee it's mommy." I hear my say as I flutter my eyes open.

"Where am i?" I ask looking around.

"The hospital." My dad says.

"Why?" I ask in a confused tone.

"Well you...had a miscariage." My mom says sadly.

"I'm not even.." I trail off thinking.

"We're so sorry Kaylee." My dad says.

"I can't believe this." I say shaking my head.

Ali's POV

Danny and I have been doing the better than ever! We all went to the carnival last weekend, plus we also flew in a helicopter! I couldn't be more happy.

Right now I'm at my desk browsing through Twitter, then I here a knock from downstairs.

"I got it!" I yell as I run downstairs.

"Who is it?" I yell behind the front door.

"Guess who?" A too familiar voice yells back.

I swung the door open and couldn't believe my eyes. It was Jesianna and Kyle! I quickly gave them a heart felt hug. My parents came down as well and we all ended up in a bunch of tears.

"Where the hell have you been?" I ask/yell.

"Ah you know, traveling." Kyle boasts.

"Whatever." I playfully roll my eyes.

"Come in, come in." My mom gestures them in.

They come in and I close the door.

"So how long y'all staying?" My dad asks.

"I feel bad that after the wedding I ditched y'all so I came back to stay. We bought a home on the east side of town and stuff." Jess explains.

"What a pleasant surprise." I say sarcastically.

"Oh hush up Ali, come on take off your jackets." My mom says and they start to take their jackets off. I took a brief look at what they were wearing and on Jess' shirt it said Bun In The Oven. Huh?

"What's up with the shirt?" My dad points out even though I know he can sense what's going on.

"NO! ARE YOU SERIOUS?" My mom ask/screams.

"Yup!" My sister nods her head joyfully. Instantly mom gave Jess a tight hug.

"Congrats." I say as I hug Kyle. I'm so happy I can't believe I'm gonna be an auntie!
