Chapter 10 - "Life's Great"

Kendrick's POV
Thursday

Life's great. Now that Ali's not apart of it anymore, I seemed to move on. My mom has been bringing a lot of men over, which is sad. I made new friends this year, and I'm still the captain of the football team. But what's killing me the most is seeing Ali with that guy.

I hope she's really happy, since I messed up, bad. I wish I would've told her everything, just to see her reaction; but I can't. Kaylee's been trying to get with me, but she's not my type.

I wonder why I even slept with her, oh yeah, I was caught up on the moment. My friends were so happy because, when I was with Ali, I didn't have sex. Ugh, I should just stop thinking about it.

Now I'm at my corner store about to get myself some chips. I went around back. I saw a girl with a great figure go to other side where the juices were. I decided to make my move.

"Hey beautiful I don't think I've seen around here before.. new?" I say approaching her.

"Oh shit, hey I didn't see you there." She said blushing dropping her phone.

"Let me get that." I said grabbing her phone and passing it too her.

She look even more gorgeous up close.

"Thanks, and I don't really come around here much anymore its my first time in this store." She says.

"Oh really... anymore??" I question

"Yea.. I used to have a friend who lived in this area..." She says hesitantly.

"Cool. So what's your name, but you know I rather call you beautiful"

"Aw stop making me blush," she laughs "well my name is Leah."

"Hi Leah nice to meet you..my name is Kendrick but you can always call me Ken"

She already seems like a cool girl, I'm not letting her slip out my finger tips.

"Ken like the barbie doll right?" She asked in a girly tone and giggles.

"Sense of humor huh?" I laughed.

"You haven't knew me as long to tell." She winks moving to a different section

"How about you give me your number and lets see how long it takes me to find out" I said following her

"Sounds like a deal." She says putting her hand out for my phone I'm guessing.

As I give her my phone I look at her eyes the remind me of... I shouldn't mention her name. If Ali can move on then I can too.

"Here you go." She smiles

"Thanks, I'll text you."

"Make sure you do, nice meeting your Ken." She said and leaving the store.

"Can life get any better" I say to myself.

Life is great!!........ Honesty I've just been living life like the fullest, after what happen over the summer my life has been really out of shape but now it's back to normal.

I have to admit I know I've been acting like a fool but the truth is after Alli and I cut our friendship I felt lost basically, but no worries it wearied off. I love the new me I feel more confident in myself much more guys have been trying to ask me out, get with me. People say it's because of my little reputation but I could care less. I know these guys like me for me. Btw Kenny and I are practically over but I know he still craves my body.

My Mom has really been urking my nerves telling that I should "Change my ways" She claims she getting scared SOMETHING bad might happen to me, and all I care to say is whatever.

Speaking of the devil here she comes now.

"Where are you going missy" My mom shouts

"Is your business?" I questioned

"It is actually" She yells sternly

"Whatever I'm out" I roll my eyes walking out the door. Time to go clubbing!!!!!!

This music is sooooooo great. Yesss This drink is really boosting up my self esteem!! As soon I turn to the bar area I see a guy who catches my attention. He look super stress I know a way that can relaxed..... When walking to the guy I almost trip over my feet, shit I'm drunkk. I take my seat right next too him.

"Hey big guy..." I whisper in his ear.

He turns around and sees me and raises his eye brow.

"Who are you....?" He asked. He looks like he's over 25 but he is hot.

"Someone trying help you release the tension you are feeling." I whisper stroking his thigh.

"Look I'm a married man I don't need you tempting me into anything."

"You now we don't have to tell that bitch what we'll do..." I slur my words

"Excuse me?" He yells.

"Rawrr....I like my man nice and tough, wink"

"I not playing with you." He warns

"Come on, just one night......it I'll be fun I promise."

"You better watch it or else." He threatens.

"Or else what.. big daddy...."

"You'll see." He says walking out the club.
