Chapter 5 - Kaylee's back in the act

Daniel's POV

So I've been hanging out with Ali a lot these past weeks. I've been neglecting my family and everything that's going on just to be with her. Ethan says 'I'm crazy in love' but I just really like Ali. I've been doing great at keeping my feelings on the low, even though sometimes it can be hard. I find it crazy I can feel these types of feelings for someone.

"Daniel! Come down here please!" My mom yelled.

"Coming." I said in a annoyed tone.

I was trying to get my thoughts together.

I walked down the stair case and into the dinning room where my parents and Ethan and his parents were.

"Where's Dana?" I asked looking around.

"She's in the den." My mom replied.

"So, Daniel I think they backed off of us a little." My father began.

"But it doesn't mean they're off of us completely yet." Ethan's dad added.

"So what? Let them do what they want, you did screw with Jason's money pops." Ethan stated.

"True." I said agreeing with Ethan.

Him and I basically have the same mindset.

"Why don't we just leave again?" My mom asked.

"Well how many times are we gonna leave? Let's stay, they haven't tried anything yet." Ethan's mom said.

"That's why we all are staying here." My dad stated.

"Mm." Was all I said.

I mean, I'm not scared or anything, people around here need to get their acts together.

School has been the same, I've been on top of my work while still making time for my friends. Yesterday was so funny, Kendrick slipped on toilet paper in the boy's bathroom and fell on his butt; everyone there started to die laughing. Good for his bitch ass!

Anyways, it's time for lunch and I was heading towards the lunch when I was stopped in my tracks by Kaylee.

"Hey Danny poooooo." She in a girly tone.

"Hey."

"You know I really really like you and I think we should go out!" She exclaimed.

"A, you're not my type. B, you basically screwed up with Alisyn. C, why would I have a girl who screws around with people?" I stated.

Kaylee was stunned by what I just said and ran off crying. I shrugged it off and walked away.

I came outside on sat on the bench.

"Hey are you okay?" Ali said coming up to me.

My facial expression softened.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said smiling.

"Really? 'Cause you just went off on Kaylee." She said and started to chuckle.

"I hates he can come up to anyone and thinks it's fine, well it's not." I explained.

"Well, everyone knows what a slut she can be." Ali said.

"True." I said.

"I guess she's back in the act." Ali said and both started to laugh.
