Ali's POV

It's the first day of school and I'm not pretty excited. Is it the fact that I have no friends or going in with people I don't know? Ugh I hate life.

I decided to wear some black jeans, a turquoise high low shirt and some black flats.

I went downstairs and my mom cooked me two pancakes and eggs with apple juice. Now since Jesianna doesn't live here anymore, my parents basically treat me like a only child.

Just then, my dad, Andrew came in the kitchen with the news paper in his hands and started on his toast.

"Now Alisyn, since you're a junior, I expect to see lots of application forms by the end of junior year." He says in his stern tone.

"Well dad, I'm in all honors classes so it should-" I got cut off

"Well I see the proof on the report card." He said and took another bite out of toast.

Ugh, I don't need this today, so I said my goodbyes and headed out the door. Wow, this time last year I was leaving with Kaylee; but we know how all that went down. Plus, now that I've got my own ride, I can basically go anywhere I want to.

I deciced to put on Chris Brown and Usher New Flame

When I pulled up to school, a cloud of sadness drifted away.

My locker was 212 on the second floor which wasn't too bad, since most my classes were on the third floor accept library and gym. I was putting books in my locker when I felt a light tap on my shoulder.

"Hey do you know where locker...213 is?" The voice asked

"Yeah, it's this one." I said pointing to the locker next to me.

"Thanks." The voice said

I turn to the person and I immediately knew who it was.

"Gracelyn?"

"Alisyn?"

"OH MY GOSH!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S YOU!!" We both squeled

Gracelyn is my old friend from grade school, she moved away in fifth grade;and I met Kaylee in seventh.

"Girl, how's it been going for you?" She asks

I told everything about what happened these last couple of months.

"Damn. If I ever see that bitch Kaylee, some shit is going down!" She says

"Oh my gosh..." I trail

We took a look at both each other's schedule and found out that we had the exact same schedule, which was pretty cool.

By lunch time, everything so far was cool. I feel so happy now that I have Grace by my side.

We decided to take seats outside.

"So we're gonna do homework at my house, I think my parents will love to see you." I say joyfully.

"Yeah, no problem." She said

"Hey Ali." A familiar voice said

I turned around and I saw Danny sitting at the next table.

"Hey Daniel." I say with the biggest smile on my face.

"Who's this?" He asks paying his attention to Gracelyn

"My name is Gracelyn Anthony. Who are you?" She asked in her girly tone.

"Daniel. Daniel Wood, and this is my bro Ethan." He said

"Yo." Ethan said

We all laugh.

"Hey so Remi Bolton is having a junior party and we are all going." Ethan states

"Well then." I said

"Isn't that a forced invitation?" Grace asked

"All his invitations are forced." Danny said shaking his head.

At that moment the bell rang.

"Well see you guys later." Ethan said and chased after some girl.

"He's crazy." I state

"That's not the half of it." Danny says and smiles.

"Well see you after school." I say and walk away.

I kind of felt bad for leaving him there, but a bunch of groupies came up to him in a hurry.

"I saw you two lovebirds." Grace says in a girly tone.

Ugh, not again.

"You saw how he stayed and let you finish. Other boys around here don't do that." She states.

"Yeah, whatever." I said

It was the end of the first day of school! Whoohoo! The only downside of today is that I saw Kendrick with his fellow jocks, but that's ok. I don't need that type of bullshit in my life anymore.

I walked out of school with Grace and I saw Danny sitting alone in a step, so I told grace to wait for me by my car.

"Hey are you okay?" I ask

"Yeah, just waiting Ethan. As usual." He says and laughs

"Oh ok..." I say and turn around

"Are you going to this party?" He asks

I turn back around.

"Yeah, Grace is gonna force me anyways." I say

He smiles.
