Chapter 11 - Don't Feel Sympathy For Her

Ali's POV

One week later, Friday

Well this week has been very eventful to say the least. But I think it brought Danny and I closer together. We don't do the cheesy things that other couples do, we only hold hands really. I always found calling each other stuff like, 'honey bear' and 'snookie poo' annoying. We just keep it simple Ali and Danny.

So right now, I'm all dressed for school and headed downstairs for a quick breakfast before Danny comes.

"Good morning." I say to both of my parents as I sat down at the breakfast table. They were both already for work, dad had his black suit and navy blue tie on, and mom had a grey blouse and a matching pencil skirt as well.

"Good morning Alisyn." My dad says. I don't think I mentioned that my dad calls Jesianna and I by our full names.

"You guys look great this morning." I say as I pick strips of bacon up and pour myself some apple juice.

"Thanks honey, I have some news about Kaylee." My mom begins.

Uh-oh. Damn, any news about Kaylee seems to be bad news.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Well her mom told me that last week that Kaylee was off the hook." My moms says.

"Oh really?" I ask as I pretend to sound amused.

"Yes! Kaylee's been cursing and yelling at her mom. Last Friday, she went to a bar, and didn't come home 'till twelve o'clock in the morning." She says in a 'I can't believe it' tone.

How can she go to a bar at seventeen? She probably used a fake ID. Shaking my head at Kaylee.

"I'm surprised you find this shocking Clara, Kaylee has been pulling this nonsense for awhile now." My dad said.

"Thanks dad!" I said agreeing with him.

"Well, I feel so bad for her and Kaylee." My mom explained.

"Kaylee brought this on herself, she needs to act mature." I blurt out eating my last strip of bacon, and drinking the rest of my apple juice.

"Damn Alisyn." My dad says and him and my mom start to laugh, I don't get it.

Right then my phone vibrates. It was a message from Danny.

Danny: I'm outside

Me: ok lemme put my plate in the sink and I'll be out

Danny:iight

I laugh at the his last text.

"Okay, bye mom and dad. Danny's outside." I say getting up and putting my plate and glass in the sink.

"Okay honey, learn today." My mom says.

"Don't get in any trouble." My dads says. It sounds more like a warning.

"Okay okay, bye guys!" I yelled as walked out the house.

The car ride was a little longer since because of traffic. Yeah our school is on the other side of town. Trey Songz's Na Na was about over so I decided to change the radio station. Taylor Swift's Blank Space was on, I'm not a fan of her songs but this song was poppin.
