Chapter 4 - Explaining It All

Daniel's POV

Ethan's been asking me a ton of questions and I think I should tell him about my feeling towards Ali.

Right we're in my car talking about girls, of coarse.

"Yeah man I'm surprised that you haven't done it with Ali or Grcae yet." Ethan says.

"No, I don't think their those types of girls." I say.

"Well I will then." He says and I grip the wheel harder.

"No." I firmly say.

"Damn man, the last time we fought over a girl was in fifth grade. Okay, I'll let you have first." He says.

We reached the house I got out the car and slammed the door.

"Dude, what's your issue? I never seen you ramped up over girls. Usually we share." He says in worry-like tone.

I don't why I'm getting upset over this. Just seeing Ali with someone else just gets me upset.

"I don't want you with Ali because I think I have feelings for her. I don't want to sound like a bitch ass, but I never felt this way about a girl before.." I trail off.

"Damn, so you really like her?" Ethan asks.

"Yeah, a lot. It the most weirdest feelings I had for someone." I explain..

"My man, and to think that I was gonna to like someone first. I'm proud of you." Ethan says.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yeah, I need to grow up but not just yet." He says.

"Yeah whatever. Now that we got that out the way, we should look more into who this 'group of people' is." I said.

"Ugh, yeah I guess so." He says

So we gained a lot of info on who these people are! The gang is of 50 or more people. Some of these men got locked away for life or other crimes. While the rest is still together and on the run; all the weapons they own is guns. Bottom line these people are no joke. But my dad had to do some crazy shit, now they're after us but not all of them. About 5 big guys is headed our way, and I'm not putting up with that. I called that strange number back, since it wasn't private, and shared a piece of my mind. I'm not gonna sit in the corner and act like a little scared bitch. Ugh, I need to calm down.

My mother scolded me about it but everyone in a crisis in this house. Ethan was about to sign up for wrestling, but I talked him out of it.

Look in the bright side, Ali. Her birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I think I'm gonna get her a new iPad case or phone case. What? I can't get her a necklace and bracelet, because we're not in a relationship,yet.
