Chapter 28 - Girls

Ethan's POV
Tuesday

So I'm 7th period, French, and my friends and I were talking about girls as usual.

"Yeah Liz Francis, mm Liz she got the perfect ass, I'm trying to get with that." One of the guys jokes and everyone laughs and I join in, just because but I didn't particularly care at the moment.

"Oh my and Alisyn Brookes she is so freaking se-" James was soon interrupted by me.

"Uh thats my bro's girl I mean if you going to talk about her you get though me so watch what you say aright?" I threatened.

I mean Daniel is my Brother I have to stick up whether he's here or not. Plus I don't need anyone to get punched.

"Woah was just going to say she was se-.. smart" James rasises hands in defense.

"Right okay" I say sarcastically

"Anyways what about that chick Grace Rose she's hot" Ryan said. (A/N: Just some random dudes)

I don't what is going on with me, but I found myself gettimg a bit tense as soon as they mentioned her name. Let me stay quiet and hear what they have to say.

"Nah she off limits I heard she was dating that Matthew guy." Ian said shrugging his shoulders.

I was taken aback for a second. What the hell! She's not with him.

"Seriously?" I asked "Since when?"

"Oh man I don't know but I also heard she hooked up with him at some shit." Ian adds.

I'm not usually the one with the bad temper but I felt myself getting angry. Why didn't she tell me. Ok first I shouldn't be angry right? I don't even care nor like her a single bit. Fuck I got a whole lot girls.. Uh yeah.

"Oh cool." I reply

Finally the day has ended and i'm just ready to leave. Since Daniel is going to Allisyn's after school I brought my car. I wonder if Grace needs a ride I thought going to my car.. Oh wait she might be with Matthew that son of a -

Soon ripped out my thoughts I heard a voice that was too familar.

"Ethan!" The girl said.

I turned around to see someone who I wasn't expecting to see. Leah.

"Ethan long time no speak." She shouts getting closer.

Oh lord, not today.

"Yeah hey." I say, confused of why she's talking to me.

"Don't act like were not friends Etho just because Daniel and I didn't work out doesnt mean anything change between us." She begins.

Etho? First I don't remeber even being close with her at all.

"My name is not Etho and were weren't close so.." I respond and she look puzzled as if this was not true.

"Your funny, so I was really surprised that Daniel finally got tied down with Addie, it probably has taken time away from you and him." She smirks.

"I don't think you should talk about this to me, mainly becuase I don't care to know, " "By the way it's Alisyn." I contineud wanting this conversation to end getting inside my car.

"You should really be a comedian," she giggled "Ken and I are doing great if you were wondering." She brags.

"I wasn't." I simply reply.

"Well..you should know I don't think Allisyn is right for Daniel."

"Go tell that to Ken or something. I'm going to go now." I end the conversaton and shut the door leaving her speechless

Why me? I have other things to think about. Wait 'till Danny hears about this.

I bet your wondering what happened to my parents, but they're off on a long buisness trip so I just chill with Danny's parents.

Anyways when I got home, the smell of cologne filled the whole house. Daniel. I throw my bookbag on the couch and head straight up stairs. I turn the corner and go in to Daniel's room.

"Hey where were you after school?" I ask as I plop myself on his bed.

"I was in hurry to get home, since I'm meeting Ali's sister and brother-in-law today." He says but his attention is still on the mirror as straightens his clothes.

"Did you know Grace and Mathew were a thing?" I ask.

"No, but I heard the hooked up, and that was about it." He explains.

"Oh." Was all I said.

"Where did you hear this?" Danny asks.

"In seventh period, the guys were blabbering about girls-"

"And when they mentioned Grace you got upset."

"Well no. How did y-"

"I know you dude."

"Well that's the worst part of my day is when Leah came to me and started talking shit about how Ali's tying you down and what not. Then she started bragging about how well Ken and her are doing." I say and Danny instantly turns around as soon I said Leah.

"You know what, let me not give her the time of day." He says and walks over to the closet.

"You know, I'm actually happy you with Ali, because you seem like a different person."

"Yeah, me too. That relationship with Leah was toxic." He agrees.

"Well I'm off." He says.

"Have fun." I wave off.

A/N: We had to take tests this week so that's why we are updating so late!
We never mentioned that we hit 3k reads! Thanks guys love you.
Probably in chap 31 we'll have a girls' night out for Grace and Ali and also a guys' night out Danny and Ethan.
Lastly, we probably keep writing in Deepest Secrets 2 until
Chap 50! That's the goal! Maybe a book 3?!
