Chapter 22 - Feeling Sympathy

Ali's P.O.V

I always wonder why ever time my life goes spiraling out of control it always has something to do with either Kendrick or Kaylee. Just in one day I find out that Kendrick has anger issues and is acting up supposedly because of 'me' and that Kaylee got raped. I really wonder sometimes.

"Alisyn?" Kay questioned sitting up on the hospital bed

"Were you saying something." I spoke.

"Yes, I was saying that you probably won't except this apology but I'm really sorry for all the hurt I've caused you. Realizing my mistakes took a while but I did, if I can go back and do things differently I would." She apologized.

There's literally so much going through my head, I don't know how I feel about this apology what so ever because when you say sorry you can't take back all the hurt you went through, I don't think she understands that.

"Okay" I simply said.

She looked like she expected me to say more but there was nothing left to say. Danny looked at me for a quick second then turned back to Kaylee. Aw my poor baby this must be so awkward for him.

"So your parents must be coming pretty soon right?" Danny asked breaking the silence.

"Uh..about that I am so scared to tell my parents right now I just wanna wait a day or two when I'm ready." She says tearing up.

"What your going to do then?" I ask arching an eyebrow.

"I was hoping that you maybe would open your home to me or maybe you Daniel, I know sound pathetic but I just want sometime to think about what happen to me before they know." She breathed.

It's really hard for me not care I mean the sympathy I feeling for her is killing me right now.

"Um you can stay with me, my mom and dad went to go spend time with Jessianna and Kyle" I offered.

"Really? Thanks Alisyn I can't thank you more than enough." She exclaims hugging me and I nodded my head.

"Ok great were going ot ask the docter if you can get out of here" Danny says.

"Alright." She smiled

Danny grabbed my hand and we walk out.

"That was sweet really of you baby." Danny teases.

"I mean I guess" I sigh.

I was nice too do this but I don't think our friendship will ever be the same.

"Hey look at me."

"Hm" I pout.

"Your not alone I.promise, you got me I will be here for you" He explains holding my cheeks.

This is not happening, why is he so cute? What were the chances that Danny and I would be together, I'm so glad he's mine!

"Thanks babe I appreciate it." I whisper seeing the doctor

"Excuse me sir is kaylee free to go?" I asked walking up to a doctor.

"Oh yes miss, the nurse had told me she did not want her parents to be contacted at the moment, so we are assuming you guys will take her home." He says.

"Yes sir." Danny and I say in unision.

"One more thing you guys need to do is sign this sheet permitting you guys are bringing her home." He hands us the sheet and we sign.

"OK" I say nodding my head.

We headed back to the the room where Kaylee was in and she was already gathering her stuff.

"You ready?" Danny ask.

"Yeah, these hospital clothes are not doing me any good." She laughs.

Here we go again, I really hope my generous offer doesn't back fire on me.

Danny's P.O.V

While driving there was an erie silene, girls, man I don't know how they they think sometimes. I have to admitt this situation is pretty werid for me mainly beause I have never dealed with this before. I just can't believe anybody would do this, how messed up do you have to be seriously. Now I everytime I think of the crap I said about her I feel really horrible. I just can't imagine how Ali feels, ususally I can read all her emotions by just looking at her but right now it's hard. Even when I picked her up to go bowling she seemed pissed about something. This all means we have to 'talk'.

"We're here" I announce.

"Thanks Daniel." Kaylee says getting out and Alisyn still has a pout on her face.

"Are you leaving?"

"Ali what did I tell you, you not dealing with this alone." I said truthfully.

"Aw really?"

"Yes I just have to go home and grab some things for tonight."

"Ok great don't leave too long alright?"

"I won't, go she's waiting for you" I laughed

She groans and gets out.

Unlocking my front doors I over hear my parents yelling, another agrument huh?

"Look at all these bills, did you pay anything back!" My mom yells.

"I can't pay everything anymore I'm struggling financially, with the bussiness not having enough money." My dad yells back

Stuggling finacially? What the hell?

"I also still owe the company back twenty grand and if I don't all of 'this' is done." He shouted.

"I can't deal with this why do you always owe money to someone or something. It's really frustrating." My mom says shaking her head.

This is confusing me.

"I'm sorry." Dad says.

"Sorry won't cut it"
