Lazy Work

Y/N POV:

I groaned and rested my forehead against the cold counter.

I've been working nonstop on a stupid cyberhack report and I just can't seem to finish it. Alex assigned it to me and said he wanted it done by Wednesday; right now is Tuesday night.

"Y/N?"

I heard Ariana call my name softly, but I was too tired to respond. Footsteps padded on the floor and stopped by the kitchen. Suddenly, I felt a warm hand slide up and down my back. My hair was moved away from my neck and soft lips gently pressed against my skin.

"Cmon, let's get you to bed." Ari whispered, pulling me out of the chair.

I wanted to protest but all that came out was a yawn. She giggled and picked me up, holding me under my thighs. I buried my face into her shoulder and sighed, inhaling her shampoo.

She carefully laid me down on our shared bed and slid in next to me. She pulled me into her arms and caressed my cheek. I snuggled into her chest and hugged her tightly, not wanting to let go.

"Mmmm thanks for taking me to bed babe." I mumbled into her shirt.

"Anything for you honey. Now try to sleep, you have been working way too hard."

She threaded her fingers in my hair and lightly scratched my scalp. I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding and kissed her chin. I closed my eyes and was about to drift off into sleep when Ariana started singing.

Step up the two of us, nobody knows us
