Ariana POV:
"And THEN, he took the scooter and tried to ride away but that was slower than running!" Y/N exclaimed, telling me a funny story about how she was chasing a convict.
I laughed and squeezed her hand that I was holding while we walked in the park, "Sounds like he is dumb."
"He is! I couldn't believe what I was seeing and I almost lost him because I was laughing so fucking hard." She said, grinning brightly.
"I'm sure you would've caught him, you are quite fast." I said while kissing her cheek.
"Hell yeah, faster than you even."
My eyes widened and I stopped in my tracks to look at her in disbelief. She stopped as well and looked at me, clearly confused.
"What's wrong?" She asked, cupping my cheek.
"You think you are faster than me?" I asked softly, smirking at her.
Y/N quickly caught on and she pulled her hand away, smiling evilly at me.
"Yes, I do."
I rolled my neck and cracked my knuckles.
"Girl you better run. I'll give you 3 seconds."
Immediately she took off, running down towards the bridge. I counted to three and sprinted after her, quickly gaining on her distance. I was just about to tap her back with my hand when she veered left and blew raspberries at me. I grinned and grabbed her waist, twirling her around and kissing her cheek. She laughed and hugged my neck, kissing all over my face.
God do I love her laugh.
"Told you." I said breathlessly, gazing at her.
"Yeah yeah, but I would beat you in a marathon. You don't have good breathing control." She mumbled into my skin.
"Still beat you at this."
"I get it I get it, you are faster than me at everything."
I chuckled and inhaled her shampoo, relishing the smell.
"Not everything, you are faster at some things." I replied while setting her back down.
She eyed me weirdly and raised an eyebrow, "Name one thing."
"You come faster than I do in be-"
"ARI!"
