Y/N POV:
I sighed and snuggled into my wife's chest.
It was a Saturday night and it was pouring outside. We were tangled up on the couch together in the dark while soft piano music played in the background. My arms were lazily draped over her shoulders while her arms were hooked around my waist, her hands trailing up and down my back.
"Pretty girl." She whispered before kissing my neck tenderly.
I hummed in response and nuzzled into her skin, relishing the smell of her body wash. Days like this don't come around often as Ari is at the studio a lot and I always seem to have a case at work. So when I found out that my building would be under maintenance on the week she was taking off I was overjoyed.
I shifted in her grasp and moved my legs out so that they were between hers. She smiled and buried her nose into my hair, her fingers lightly scratching my scalp.
"Your hair smells like fresh lemon." She mumbled.
"Heh yeah, it's a new shampoo I'm trying." I replied, kissing her cheek.
"Use it more often, I like it." She said before pulling down the neck of my sweater and sucking on my shoulder.
I groaned and moved slightly so she had better access. Ari dug her teeth gently into my skin and I knew she was probably going to leave a mark. I felt her warm tongue sooth the irritated spot and I giggled.
"What's so funny?" She asked softly, pulling my face to hers.
"Nothing, you are just so gentle and kind to me. I love you." I whispered, placing our foreheads together.
"I love you too." Ariana said before kissing me passionately.
Our lips moved in sync and my hands ended up behind her neck, pulling her close to me. When I pulled away I immediately snuggled back into her skin. She laughed at my cuteness and wrapped her arms tightly and protectively around me.
"My beautiful girl." Ari said before humming my favorite song.
Sometimes I wish these moments could last forever.
