(I'm in love with the song 'Getting Out' by Jason Robert Brown. The guitar solo is immaculate. Highly recommend!)

Y/N POV:

This was a very weird situation.

Ariana and I had just received news that we were going into a worldwide shutdown, meaning we can't leave the house without some sort of facial mask. I was already nervous as is because we had just moved in together after being engaged and it doesn't help that I'm now stuck here.

At the moment I was reorganizing the garage, placing all of the plastic containers on the floor and inspecting every tool I found. I had just gotten a new bike rack and I was trying to put it together without breaking it. As I twisted a bolt in, the door slowly opened and Ariana appeared with two cups of coffee.

"Hey honey." She said, kissing my cheek and setting the cup down next to me.

"Hi." I replied bluntly, not taking my eyes off of my project.

She frowned and pressed her hand against my back, making me sigh and drop the wrench I was holding. She massaged my stiff muscles while littering my neck with kisses, making me feel tired. She sat down behind me and pulled me in between her legs, wrapped her arms around my waist and rubbing my sides.

"You have been so stressed lately, what's up?" She asked softly, peering at me with her big brown eyes.

"I don't know Ari, I feel....off." I said, fiddling with my fingers.

"I've noticed, anything I can do to help?"

I thought for a moment before something coming to mind.

"I do have a lot to say, can you just listen?" I asked, turning to look at her.

Ari nodded, "Of course, talk to me love."

I took a deep breath before letting all of my thoughts pour out. I told her all about the moving, the fact we are living together right when a pandemic started, my stress on the pandemic and quarantining, and just everything that seems to not be working right. Ariana listened to every word I said, not judging a thing, and would kiss my skin when I would pause to catch my breath from the rambling.

When I finished I looked at her hesitantly only to see she was smiling.

"I understand how you feel Y/N. I'm nervous about the pandemic too, and it doesn't help that we just moved in together. But you know what I do when I feel stressed?" She asked, brushing my hair with her nails.

"Hm."

"I relax and think of all the crazy fun things you talk about doing with me. Your smile, hell your face alone brings me joy and peace."

I couldn't help but smile at her words, realizing I didn't have to worry.

"That's smart, I should try that." I said, leaning back into her.

Ari nodded and buried her nose into my shirt.

"And I'm sorry for being so anxious and stressed."

"Don't apologize, it's a whole new world now. I'm sure tons of people are as nervous as you."

I smiled and turned around to hug her, snuggling up into her lap. I noticed the cup of coffee on the ground and grabbed it to take a sip.

"Mmmm, thanks for the lukewarm coffee." I said, kissing her cheek.

"Hey, it's only cold because YOU decided to read a whole TDA about your anxiety." Ariana sassed.

"Dick." I said before playfully slapping her arm.

"I do have one, yes."
