I smiled as Ari and I laid on the grass together, our hands intertwined as we watched the clouds roll overhead.
Every once in awhile one of us would point out a funny shape, but other than that we stayed quiet, just enjoying each other's presence.
I sighed and closed my eyes, relishing the summer wind blowing gently across our bodies. I felt a shuffle next to me and soon my wife was curled up to my side, lightly kissing my neck.
"Hello beautiful." I murmured, turning to face her.
I gazed into her brown eyes lovingly, relishing her beauty. She decided not to hassle with her makeup today and just let herself be free. (A/N I know the in the pic she got makeup on but just roll with it.)
Her long brown hair was up in a small messy bun while she wore one of my white sweatshirts which engulfed her petite figure. She had also taken my athletic shorts, my Nikes, and my tube socks. I nearly check if she was wearing my damn underwear, which she was.
"Whatcha staring at love?" She whispered softly, tapping my cheek.
"This gorgeous girl who has my heart tied into knots." I replied, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
A sweet giggle passed her lips, making me smile, and she sat up whilst pulling me with her. Was sat crisscross in the grass and watched as the dogs roamed about, occasionally playing with a stick or two.
"I love you." Ari blurted suddenly, catching my attention.
"I love you too." I said back, wrapping my arm around her shoulders.
"No Y/N, I mean I really love you." She said again, looking up at me.
I cocked my head, feeling a bit confused. She stared at me for a bit before looking at the ground; I noticed she was playing with her fingers nervously.
"Every guy I've ever been with has treated me like nothing compared to you. Don't get me wrong, they were nice, but you are different. I had never been with a girl before you and I was so goddamn nervous that I was gonna fuck up our relationship."
She paused and took a breath before continuing.
"What I'm saying is, that I really really love you. I appreciate how you care for me and always put me first. Always. It's crazy how one person can make you feel so special but you do that to me, you're it for me Y/N."
I smiled at her, and placed my fingers under her chin to turn her head to me, before pressing my lips to hers.
Our kiss was slow and passionate, and I felt that both of us were marinating it with love. When I pulled away, I kissed her cheek and jaw before meeting her brown doe eyes.
"I'm glad you appreciate how I treat you, and of course I'm gonna make you feel special, you're my girl for Christ sakes." I said, tickling her sides slightly.
Ari squealed and laughed, nuzzling herself closer to me. She looked up at me before pulling her phone out and handing it to me. I opened the camera app and smiled as she gave me a hard and loving kiss to my cheek.
"This is why I love you so much." She mumbled against my skin.
I chuckled and pulled her into my lap as I laid on the ground.
"Right back at ya Grande-Y/L/N, I love you so much too."
