"Its so nice to have my two favorite girls back in the same room!" Garcia yelled over the bars loud music, throwing her arms around Emily and I "First drinks on me." Emily said desperately escaping Garcia's death grip. "It's so nice to have her back JJ." She said once again, I nodded watching as Emily flirted with the bar tender, the lights from behind the bar silhouetting her figure perfectly "It really is. She always did manage to get our drinks cheap." I laughed pointing as Emily leaned over the bar, her shirt a little too low. We made room for her at the table as she walked over, setting down a round of shots "Woah there! I thought you said you were getting us drinks, not shots?" I asked, "These are technically drinks!" She defended "Come on JJ, loosen up a little. This is our first girl's night in years!" I felt my face heat up as she winked at me, throwing back the shot. Garcia let out a yell of approval "Come on girls lets party!"
I watched as Garcia and Emily downed shot and after shot, slowly our conversations started dying down, Garcia glanced between us and smiled devilishly "Come on, let's dance!" she yelled pulling Emily onto the dance floor. I watched as they drunkenly danced together before Emily locked eyes with me "Come on join us!" She said running up grabbing my hand. I tried to resist "No, no! I'm not as drunk as you two!" Emily laughed, sticking her tongue out teasingly before pulling me onto the dancefloor anyway. I finally gave in and danced with my two friends, noticing as guys hungerly eyed Emily up and down. Shooting them a threatening glair I grabbed Emily's waist and pulled her closer to me, she shot a confused look at me but got the message when I nodded towards the men. "I think we should grab one more drink and get out of here, it's getting late." Emily whispered into my ear "One more drink? You're already white-girl wasted Em!" I laughed.
I finally convinced the two out of the bar and into my car with the promise of greasy food. After essentially ordering everything off the menu of a local drive-thru I dropped Garcia off at her place, watching as she stumbled through her door "Goodnight!" I yelled out the window "Ow, not so loud JJ." Emily groaned from the passenger seat "Hey, I told you one last drink wasn't a good idea." Emily groaned again "Ah come on, it was fun!" I laughed "Alright let's get you home. Are you still in a hotel or are you back in your apartment?" "Apartment." She grunted laying her head on the window and closing her eyes.
Walking Emily to her door I dug around her purse for the keys. It must have taken longer than I thought because when I looked up from the lock, Emily had sat down on the floor propped up against the wall. "Come on Em, it's time for bed." I helped her up and into her bedroom, thank god she didn't have stairs, or we wouldn't have made it. Emily flopped down on the queen size bed and closed her eyes. "Hey! No, you need to change!" I said before walking into her kitchen to fix her a glass of water and tried to find some aspirin "Hey, Em, where's your medicine cabinet?" I yelled. She wasn't any help replying with another groan, so I dug through my purse managing to find a few pills. My breath caught in my throat when I walked back into the bedroom, Emily was curled tightly up on top of the comforter wearing a loose-fitting t-shirt and a pair of black panties. I shook my head, trying to bring my heart rate down. She rolled over, looking at me curiously as I went to set the water and Aspirin on her bedside table "You'll thank me later," I winked. Emily gave me a drunken smile "Thanksssss," she mumbled. I scratched a quick note on a piece of paper before grabbing a blanked off the couch. Placing the note on the bedside table and the blanket over the sleeping agent I smiled looking down at her one more time, "Goodnight Em." linger a bit in the doorway before ultimately deciding to go home.
