A short goodbye

"Ne-chan!!!" Luffy yells as soon as he sees me sitting beside me.  His stretchy arms arms wrap around me and pulls me into a strong hug. I laugh at his enthusiam and hug him back. He continues to repeat Ne-chan ne-chan over and over again burying his face into my shirt. I pat his back.

" See, I told you I would find you again. " I use my powers to lift him and place him on his own two feet. He gets stars in his eyes gushing at my devil fruit powers.

" SUGOI!!" He goes to touch it and I let one of my red flowers bloom in his hand. I turn towards the Heart Pirate.

" It's nice to see you again as well Mr. Trafalgar. It's been a while since the Sabaody." He smirks standing up, walking towards me.

" What are you doing here. Finally got tired of Kid? What about your lover boy?" He mocks me but I can't help but smirk.

" Wouldn't you like to know. I'm here on private business. Your lucky you're Luffy's friend or I'd kill you off on behalf of my captain, death doctor." I stand as tall as I can. Kid would have a pissy fit if I told him I let Trafalgar Law go without even a scratch. I feel an arm wrap around my shoulder and I see Law's been done the same.

"Ne-chan you know Torao?!" I have to stifle a laugh at his nickname.. I see the said pirate getting irritated.

" Yes, I know Torao," I mimic the nickname further irritating the pirate. "We met a while back. I failed to ask him to dance back then. Maybe I can get you to do one for me now?" I tilt my head smiling, reaching for my guns. He smirks ready to reach for him blade but I feel a burning sensation in my pocket.

I reach and find Kid's vivre card burning slightly in the corners. I frown. I'm sure that it's nothing. They probably got into a fight or something. The hideout isn't far from here. I'd be able to reach there real quick but a irking feeling settles in my stomach.

" Looks like it's time for me to get a move on. Maybe next time To~ra~o." I tease before ignoring his glare and turning to my brother. I cut a piece of my Vivre card for him to keep.

" I've got to go now. Looks like my crew got themselves into some trouble again and they might need me. I can't stay away from them too long cause if they get impatient and start looking for me, well, hell's got nothing on us. " grinning, I lay a hand on his face, tracing the scar under his eye with my thumb.

" Looks like this is our short goodbye but I'm glad you're doing alright." He smiles brightly standing tall.

" You're no kid anymore. You take care of your self and your crew. They're your new family as Kid's crew is mine and if we ever end up on opposite sides of a battle, " I pause and smirk my devil smirk.

" Well, lets have fun with it." He laughs and nods.

" Can't wait." I nod and turn towards his crew.

" Was nice meeting you all. Please take care, hope our crews never cross paths, and I hope you all live long enough to watch my captain find one piece." Without giving them any time to argue or oppose the idea, I leave them with a smile and out the door. Even as i walk away back towards town, back towards my little boat, I can hear my brother shouting his goodbye and finally, for the first time in a long, long time, I can leave smiling, with a light feeling in my chest. I can leaving wanting to get back to Killer, Kid, and the rest of the crew. I can finally leave feeling certain.

The vivre card began taking me in a different direction from the hideout. Days, maybe a few week, i sailed in my tiny boat.  Every island I stopped on was a new one and the seas that I sailed were un occupied, no one was on them, as if I were the only person in the world. Until i could see an unusual phenomenon happened ahead. A maze of stones and currents. Perhaps, if I hadn't had the Vivre card, I would have had to go through those dangerous waters but, for some reason, it had me sailing all the way around the waters and towards a waterfall. and it wanted me to go straight into the waters.

Now thinking about it, there's no way my crew would have been able to figure all of this out. We have a mediocre navigator and a dumb captain who likes to fight. He probably pissed someone off and was chased here or, he chased someone here.

and thus, I trust the vivre card and sail right into the waterfall. I could feel my strength leaving me as the water hit me but, instead of being met with a rock wall, there was a cave and I knew, It was going to take me a long while to find my dear captain and the rest of the crew.
