Genevieve's POV
I wake up to see Tony and Wanda have already left to go see the city. He's been teaching her how to use the suit he made for her more now. She's growing fast so he has to make it bigger pretty frequently. I go to Bucky's room and pause before I knock, this used to be Loki's room and I don't know if I'll ever see it another way.

I finally build up to courage to knock. "Come on in" I hear him mumble from inside. I open the door and step inside before closing it behind me. He's sitting at the edge of the bed staring out the window. "Are you alright? You look like you haven't slept at all" I sit beside him. He shrugs, "I don't really sleep since mom and dad never really gave me time to. They said sleeping was too vulnerable."

I shake my head in disbelief that he lived like that for so many years while I had no idea. "Well how about you come downstairs with me so I can make us some breakfast? I make some pretty bomb eggs" I smile. He shakes his head and turns to me, "They never fed me too often so I've learned to rarely get hungry."

I sigh, "We gotta break these habits Buck. I know it's your normal way of life now but it's also unhealthy. Come on and at least have a cup of coffee for me." He stays silent as he contemplates my offer but gives in. I take his hand in mine and we walk to the kitchen together. As I make our coffees the rest of the team come in. They each look and Bucky awkwardly and sit down without speaking.

"Well aren't you guys a talkative bunch, what's going on?" I fold my arms and raise an eyebrow. None of them say a word. "Quill? I at least expect an answer from you" I walk closer towards his seat. He looks up at me and then everyone else, "Look, I've known Bucky a very long time so I don't necessarily hate him but he's still not my favorite person." I shake my head and turn around so I don't have to look at them.

I stand next to Bucky and hold his hand in mine, "My brother has been through hell since he was born. He had a chance to escape but he gave it up for me. Nothing else matters. I'm not asking any of you to love him but at least be kind and give him a chance." Bucky gets a small smile on his face and squeezes my hand. No one responds and instead stares at the ground besides Steve.

"Come on guys, she's right. Let's just give him a chance" he stands up from the table and walks towards Bucky. He reaches out his hand and Buck shakes it. "Thank you Rogers, that means a lot to me" Bucky smiles and Steve returns it. There's a weird vibe in the air between them but I can't put my finger on it. I'm just glad someone is giving him a real chance. Tony's barely said a word to him since the field and Wanda is the only person to keep a conversation with him besides me.

Bucky and Steve sit down in the living room together and talk for about an hour while the rest go train. It seems like he might b emailing his first friend here. The front door opens and Tony comes in with Wanda. "Hey you two, how was it?" I pick my little girl up in my arms and give Tony a kiss. "It was great mom! I didn't hit anything and I flew perfectly, ask dad!" Wanda says excitedly.

Tony smiles and pats her head, "Yes you did. One day you'll be ever better than me." Wanda sees Bucky and Steve from over my shoulder and wiggles out of my arms to run up to them. "Uncle Bucky, guess what? One day I'm going to be a better flyer than my dad!" she jumps on the couch in between them. He opens his eyes wide and his mouth drops open, "No way kid! Better than Ironman himself? You must be a real pro sweetie!"

I feel Tony's arms wrap around me as we both smile watching them together. "Maybe he's not so bad huh?" he whispers in my ear. "Maybe not" I whisper back. I'm so happy with how this is turning out. I stand and watch Bucky connect with Wanda for a few moments before I let my brain wander too far.

Not only is he staying on Loki's room but he has a relationship with her just like he did. My head starts to feel cloudy as my breaths grow faster and my knees become weak. I feel Tony's grip tighten on me, "Are you alright honey? You're shaking," The only emotion going through me right now is panic. It's like every memory I have with Loki is rushing back, including the last.

"He's so much like Loki, isn't he?" I barely speak. Tony let's out a sigh and turns me around to face him, "Don't do this to yourself Gen. Don't compare them." I can see the empathy all over his face and it brings me a sense of safety. "Let's go upstairs so they don't see you like this sweetheart" he says and helps me up the stairs.

We head into our room and sit on the bed. He holds me tight and plays with my hair gently. I'll never be able to forget Loki, he was the only thing Wanda and I had for years. I still love with him with every bone I have. I just can't understand why he would betray us, why he would work with my family. It doesn't make any sense because it all felt so real. How could I have fallen for his games? He truly is the god of mischief.

After a few minutes I calm down as Tony still comforts me. Something still doesn't feel right though, it's like someone's watching me. I turn my head slightly towards the door and I can't believe my eyes. I swear I just saw Loki pass my door. My body jolts up and Tony turns me to face him, "What's wrong? You look like you've just seen a ghost." He has no idea how right he is.
