I think this song sounds nice and y'all should deffinitely support Sam Tinnesz, he just keeps on making bangers.

For any writers who like to listen to music or other background noise while writing, I would reccomend I miss my cafe. You can chose out of various background noises and it's just very relaxing. I personally mostly listen to dark academia music with a bit of rain and sometimes fire noises in the background. It does wonders to my inspiration.

Now then, let's get on with it!

She knocks on the door to father's office, fully ready to 'cry and be sad' because her mother died when she thinks over that plan again. Hotaru didn't like Karuka one bit; he wouldn't be very sad about her death but more about the power-vacuum that would open because of it.

A mangekyou sharingan, no matter how dumb the user, still holds significant power and Karuka was the only Uchiha the clan had at its disposal. But if she shows her father that she has the kekkei genkai he desperately needs, wouldn't that be even better in his eyes?

To have a 'perfect child' with two powerful blood-line limits that obeys his every word? Maybe, she can tell him that she killed mother and he will even like it. First kill with four sounds like a dream come true for most Kaguya and her father is no exception.

She will tell him the news first and observe how he reacts, then decide what she should do. The door opens and she steps inside, seeing her father sitting there with a shot of sake. Himari bows and delivers the news.

"Father, mother is dead. Her corpse is in the woods on the east-side of the compound." it's all he has to know and if he wants to retrieve it, he will call a clan-member to do it. His eyes are devoid of emotions, just like always. The only thing he can feel is anger, or so it seems. Pride, sometimes, and joy is something she has only seen in his eyes two times.

"Thank you for relaying the message, daughter. May I ask what happened?"

She activates her sharingan wordlessly, but lays a genjutsu over it so it seems like it only has one tomoe. The Kaguya don't specialize in genjutsu and so father is none the wiser.

"Brilliant, daughter! I knew you wouldn't disappoint. We may have lost something today, but we gained something much more valuable." he is not moved by her death at all, which means she can tell him the truth.

"I killed her. She was to weak and emotional to be part of our clan. I hope you can forgive me for not asking for permission before." Is what she says, but inwardly, she likes emotional people. They are so intense and inspiring and refreshing, so unlike what her clan strives to be.

"Did you? Well, I guess I can forgive you for operating without my consent this once, but remember to tell me should you feel the need to do such things again. That aside, I think it's about time for you to fight in the arena for the first time. we will need to show the clan that all successors are promising fighters."

Her father looks very pleased. Himari hates it. He said she has to fight, has to kill a child because it's weaker than her. She felt nothing when killing her mother, it was good riddance. That may make her a monster, but she had her reasons. This, however, is slaughter of children. Young children. It makes her sick but no matter what, she's too weak to escape her clans clutches yet.

She plans to of course, plans to run away with her brother and never come back. Her white hair might be a bit of a tell-tale sign but there are still other people with white hair out there. But that will have to wait. She deactivates her sharingan and bows before leaving the room. There are fights coming up, about who will be the second in command after father.

She plans on watching and maybe add the one or the other jutsu to her arsenal. Even if the sharingan can't copy other kekkei genkai, she can still observe and try to replicate it. It would be a waste to flee from this island while there are still valuable techniques she can learn, but Himari thinks she's got most of them.

Not mastered, of course, because that will take some time, but the basics. She can work with that. Her feet bring her to her brothers room, where he is resting at the moment. He's half a year old by now but shows no signs of being able to speak or crawl. He rocks back and forth like a normal child would around this age, as it is the step before crawling.

But her father can't see that and every day there aren't any new milestones that her brother reaches, father gets more irritated. It's a bit scary, that every day could be the day he decides it isn't worth it and does something to him, but there's at least a few more weeks until he explodes.

Her fight is announced two days after. The elders have fought for the place they wanted and Himari is sure that she needs only two more techniques before her repertoire of Shikotsumyaku is complete. Her father has dropped hints that he will teach them to her if she manages to impress the clan and win the fight.

The arena made for those fights is not very impressive. It's just a sandy floor with some seats around it. Most of the fights don't attract many visitors, but sometimes, just like today, there are many people sitting there, waiting for the fight.

It's her first fight and father didn't miss a moment to brag about 'his genius daughter who has two kekkei genkai', so everyone came. His rivals, his friends, the elders, everyone.

There are not many children present. Kaguya raise their kids with fear, and she is the perfect blank canvas many parents paint their horror stories on. It should be an honour, to be strong enough to be viewed as a nightmare already, at least in her father's eyes.

She just feels disgust bubbling up inside her whenever parents usher their kids away from her. It hurts, but she silently endures like she does everything else.

Her opponent is eight years older than her and twice as big. She can't match him in strength, no doubt, but that's not what she specializes in anyways. One day she will train her strength further but at the moment, she mostly relies on agility and speed. Her chakra reserves are massive for her age but her favourite is taijutsu.

Sadly, she will have to mostly use clan-techniques for this, otherwise it would've been a good time to try her own style. The referee counts to three and as soon as his hand moves downwards, Himari is on the move. She pulls out her right humerus and sharpens the end to make a sword.

Her opponent mirrors her move as they engage in a few minutes of fast kenjutsu before she decides it's time to spice it up a bit. With a few simple handsigns she vanishes only to reappear behind him and stab through his chest. She's holding back, her clan wants a show and she delivers.

Her opponent dodges most of it but she still grazes his side and manages to draw blood. That gives extra points she thinks, grim, but what can she do? It's exhilarating to fight and she feels herself sinking into the feeling more with every passing second.

She's throwing different elemental jutsus at him, easy ones but the combo makes it hard to evade. Earth wall, water serpent which she tunes with lightning, fireball and wind blades. He's limping at this point, it's clear who's going to win and she still hasn't used her sharingan yet.

Every second the fight lasts longer than it should gives her more of the image of a cruel person and that is exactly what her father wants but she can't overdo it. So, she lets bones grow out of the earth around her and one of them impales the boy. As he cries out in pain, she delivers the finishing blow via kunai to the chest.

It's over. The audience roars loudly at her victory.
