SHE HATED it. Everything about her room she hated. Whether she planned on hating it or was shocked that she hated it. She hated everything about her new room.
It had been two weeks since she left, two weeks since school started, and two weeks of this new routine that she had started up.
One thing was for sure, she had been so worried about telling Ricky that she was moving and, at the end of the day, had nothing to really worry about.
NO CRYING. Ricky and Gideon promised that no tears were going to fall as they said their not-so-final goodbyes.
She had spent the majority of that day with everyone else. Ricky had specially asked for the rest of the night alone.
So, with her father's permission and the tiniest crack in the door, Ricky was allowed to spend the night.
Ricky sat on Gideon's bed, his hands resting behind him.
Gideon has finally returned to her room and gently cracked the door behind her.
She let out a groan before falling face first into Ricky's chest, her arms lazily laying around his waist.
Ricky's hand rested on her lower back, the other still resting behind him as he propped himself up.
The day had been very long in Gideon's eyes. With her being with her family at home for a couple to being with her friends the next. She was gonna miss this. She was gonna miss home.
She had her eyes shut against his chest, still sitting (laying?) in the uncomfortable position she put herself in. She felt Ricky rubbing his hand up and down her back slowly.
"You know what I hate." She muttered.
Ricky looked down. Her eyes shut and her breathing slow.
"I hate that scene in High School Musical Two where Gabriella's singing I Gotta Go My Own Way."
"Why?"
"She sings this sad song in every movie and as I've gotten older I've realized how much I hate her character." She explained, "I guess I just don't like relating to her as much as I do."
