"Uh... are we taking this too far now?" asked the dumb one, Adam.
The gangly leader, Chase, shook his head tightly at his friends as he forced their poor victim against his own locker. "Nope. This'll teach'im a lesson for telling a teacher on us."
The victim, Frank, pressed against the locker piped up stubbornly, "I'm telling you, I didn't say anything to anyone!"
Chase whipped around and kicked him hard in the shin, spitting curses at him angrily. He jolted his head back around, squinting at the sunlight radiating through the box-shaped window.
"Okay, see if you can open it," he ordered Rush, the giant standing next to Adam, "and if you can't, throw a brick through it."
Frank struggled mercilessly, punching and kicking aimlessly, but he Chase was surprisingly strong. "What're you gonna do?!"
The sound of glass shattering loudly triggered both Frank and Chase to look at the window, which was now broken. Rush turned around to check that nobody heard and to alert Chase to the open window. Adam just stared at the broken glass stupidly.
"I broke it with the brick," Rush informed his leader intelligently, holding a brick.
Chase frowned. "I figured. Let's do this."
Frank's mouth pressed into a tight line. He jabbed a punch one more time before Chase stopped pressing his back so hard into the locker. He became even more confused, and even more when Adam and Rush grabbed him.
"What're you... doing...?" he asked cautiously, or as cautiously as he could.
Adam grinned maliciously. Two pairs of arms grabbed his legs off of the floor and one pair of arms grabbed him from behind. He started flailing, his hands balled into fists that hit at his tormentors. When Frank jabbed Rush two times hard in the nose and it started bleeding, the boys ran towards the window.
Chase spat in Frank's hair and hauled him up to the window sill. "D'ya like the view, loser?" Rush and Adam laughed obnoxiously.
Before Frank could try to climb out of danger, Adam pushed him roughly out the window.
And as Frank fell, he thought about his legacy, and how almost nobody would remember the lame boy who was pushed out the second floor of his high school in New Jersey. He wanted to be a rock star, and now three jocks had murdered him.
And when he landed, he was pretty sure he could hear his left leg crunch as it stuck under him awkwardly. And he yelled.
It was agony, and he really wanted God to just kill him now. Send a lightning strike. Instead, some other losers who happened to be sitting against the brick wall rushed up to him and called 911.

When he woke up in the hospital, he couldn't even remember what he was there for (or what this girl was doing signing his leg for) until his brain regained focus and he squinted his eyes shut. He felt like his brain had hit his skull and he sincerely hoped that the heavy, colorful thing weighing down his left leg wasn't what he thought it was.
But it was. And when he opened his eyes, he noticed that the girl was drawing a really wicked zombie on the tacky green plaster.
The girl's head shot up when she heard him shuffling around in bed. Frank got a better look at her, or rather his, face. It was the choppy-haired kid who'd called the ambulance for him.
He held his hand up in greeting, marker still in his clutches. "Hey, dude."
Frank smiled weakly. "Hey." The room was really cold, and smelled like disinfectant. Frank hated hospitals. But the zombie was really coming along. "That's a good drawing."
The guy showed his small teeth. "Yeah, I hope so, 'cuz it'll be on your foot until y'get this cast off."
Frank genuinely grinned this time. "Guess so. So what's your name?"
"Gerard," the boy responded, "but don't tell anyone I'm in here. I'm not considered family, so I'm not really s'pposed to be here. Then he hopped off the bed. "Actually, I should probably be going now. But I'll see you at school tomorrow."
He grabbed his backpack, swung it around his right shoulder, and exited the room.
Frank guessed that they were friends now, which made him smile. He just hoped his new friend wasn't his bullies' next victim.
(so you didn't actually mean for me to make this whole plot but here you go)
(hope that was sufficient)
