I walk into the justice building and into a little room where i walk over to the window and see everyone leaving the square. Moments later, the door flings open and Katniss, Gale and Prim come in. Prom is the first to tackle me into a hug and Katniss hugs me as she lets go followed by Gale

"You can do this Vic. Your a great hunter and your smart" Gale tells me

"I don't know guys, I mean the guys from 1 and 2 spend years training for this" I tell them

"Yeah but so what? I know you can do this" Katniss tells me

"Katniss is right you can" Prim tells me

"Only one person comes out" I say

"Yeah and it will be you" Gale says as a Peacekeeper walks in and I know times up so I walk over to the door

"You can take the deer" I tell Katniss before I turn and follow the Peacekeeper out. We walk outside where Effie and Michel wait for me.

Effie leads us onto the train, and into the lounge which is beautifully decorated with China patterns on the furniture and loads of foods and drinks on a table at the side. I take a seat in one of the chairs and look out the window at the stunningly view. Effie went over to the corner and started applying more makeup to her self and Michel sat on the chair beside me just staring into space. Moments later, the door slider over and our mentor walked in, Haymitch Abernathy. We won the 50th Hunger Games and ever since then he's been an alcoholic, in a way I don't really blame him it must be hard after killing people to survive just to keep the Districts in line.

He walked straight over to the table with the liquor and poured himself a large glass of whiskey and came and sat down opposite Michel who watched his carefully " Congratulations" he has as he takes a swig of his drink

"On what dying in an arena to amuse the Capitol" I ask him and his eyes turn to me

"Actually yes" he answers

"Or you could give us some advice so we wouldn't die" I say to him

"Okay embrace the probability of your imminent death" Haymitch says

"That's not advice" Michel says and Haymitch just shrugs and Michel gets up and storms out of the room and Effie follows him out

"I want some proper advice" I tell Haymitch

"I gave you it" he answers

"No you gave me a load of crap. I don't plan on dying just so the Capitol get some fun. I plan on winning and seeing my friends again, not dying in some stupid arena. So you will tell me how to survive" I tell him seriously

"Sponsors" he says

"I'm sorry?" I ask confused

"You get Sponsors. And by getting sponsors you have to get people to like you and so far that doesn't seem to be happening Sweetheart " He tells me

"You want me to be nice? Okay I will" I tell him and I get up and walk out with a smile
