I am waiting for Cinna to come down then we can make our way to the elevator and to the aircraft that will then take us over to the rooms before going into the arena.
"Katniss, what are you doing up?" I ask her as she walks through the door over to me
"I came to say goodbye to you" she says as she pulls me into a bone crashing hug "Please stay alive" she says as she pulls away
"Of course I will" I say to her " I need you to look after these for me" I say as I pull my locket from my neck and take my ring of my figure and place them in her hand
"Of course I will and congratulations "Katniss says as Cinna walks in
"You ready " He asks me
"As ready as I'll ever be. love you Katniss, if I don't make it out of there please tell Haymitch I love him " I say to her and she nods as tears slide down her face
"Lets go" Cinna says as he wraps an arm around me and leads me to the elevator. We don't say anything just stare a t the doors waiting for them to open and as they do, we step out and walk into the aircraft. As we sit down, a man comes over to me and puts my tracker in my right arm causing me to gasp at the needle.
"This suit is light. No thermal so I'd guess tropics or desert" Cinna tells me
"60 seconds to launch" a male announcer says from the speaker
"That dress really was beautiful, I think it was one of my favourites" I tell him
"I thought you'd like it, I guess I have to start working on a wedding one" Cinna says with a small smile
"I just want to say incase --" I start to say before Cinna cuts me off
"Stop. Remember, I'm still betting on you Girl On Fire" Cinna says as he covers up my Mockingjay pin and pulls me into a hug as we pull apart, I step into the pod which then closes as I face Cinna. I hear the door open behind Cinna and four peacekeepers come in and beating him up, I shout for them to stop but they cant here me because of the door I start yelling and banging on the door and tears in my eyes begin to fall down my cheek as the pod goes up as they pull Cinna away unconscious .
