I am making my way to the aircraft with Colonel beside me, Coin thinks i should visit 12 so i can see what the capitol did to my home. As i reach the aircraft, i see Gale and i run over to give him a hug.

"I cant believe your going through with this" Gale says to me as we pull apart

"I need to see it for myself" I say to him as i walk into the aircraft with Gale behind me and i sit down as we lift off. The door opens as we land and i stand up and walk over to it and it is all rubble

"13 swept everything, top to bottom so you'd be safe. You sure you don't want me to come with you? " Gale asks me as the aircraft lands

"Yeah, I'm sure " I say to him

"We'll have our eyes on you from above" Gale says as i walk out and the aircraft flies off.

I look around and everything has been destroyed no buildings are left standing, no animals alive, no people , nothing. It's like no one even lived here. i walk around and i stop when i see a heap of skeletons of women, men, children and animals and its horrible and i cant help but cry. I reach where the church would have been and its all gone just a pile of bricks and rubble my parents grave is covered in rubble and dirt.

I walk to the victors village and the houses have been destroyed apart from mine and Haymitch's house and The Everdeen's house. I walk up the steps to my house and i hesitantly open the door and I'm surprised by what i see, everything is the same as when we left ,bottles lay on the floor, Clothes on the sofa, my book open on the table and the picture of when i was younger on the shelf. i walk into the back room and i see a single white rose laying on the desk and i pick it up slowly and look at it. Snow had put it here, knowing i would probably come back for it . I put the rose down and pick my coat up which lay on the chair in the corner of the room and i put it on and i grab my bag and put it over my shoulder and i head upstairs and i go into mine and Haymitch's room and i reach up to the top of the wardrobe and get the box down. I carefully take the lid of and i get the pictures of me and my parents from it and i put them in my bag. After getting everything important, i make my way back to the aircraft but i feel something brush my leg and i see Prims cat there purring so i carefully pick her up and i put her in my bag so i can take her to Prim

As i get back to 13, i go up to the Everdeen's room and i knock on the door before going in and they all come over to me and Katniss pulls me into a hug which i gladly return and i hear a meow coming from my bag.
"Buttercup" Prim says as i get her out and hand her over

"I saw her and thought I'd bring her to you , i also got a picture somewhere of you, my parents and your husband all together" I say to Mrs Everdeen as i reach for the picture

"Thank you" She says as i hand it too her

Me, Katniss and Gale are sitting in the canteen with everyone else and there both eating their lunch but every time i go and eat something, i bring it back up.

"You need to eat something, it's not good for the baby" Gale says and i hear the music playing on the screen and i look up to see Caesar start talking about the Quarter Quell and then Peeta appears, and I'm shocked. I'm shocked that he is alive. I'm shocked at how different and ill he looks, i cant believe what they have done to him, it's so harsh. Katniss gets up and she walks over to the screen and i cautiously follow behind her. Peeta starts talking about the games and about what we did in that arena and how we didn't know what was happening . Peeta says how we should put down our weapons and is calling for a ceasefire and everyone starts yelling about Peeta being a traitor and i guide Katniss out of the room knowing she cant handle it.
