Since we got back from the tour, things are different people are acting weird and this place is crawling with peace keepers and I don't like it.

As I'm in my way back from the Everdeen's , I hear a gun shot and it sounds like its coming from towards the square , and I immediately run towards there.

"Katniss! Gale ! Did you hear the gunshot" I shout as I get to them

"Vic. We did , what's going on" Katniss asks me as people run past us screaming

"Ripper" Katniss says to her as she comes past us

"My eye" Ripper says while holding her hand in front of it

" we are going to get you out of here" Katniss says to her as Gale sees a lady getting pushed over by a peace keeper and runs over to help her

"Come on , lets go somewhere quite" I say as I lead them both down an alley

"Here, hold that there" Katniss says to Ripper as she hands her a wet piece of cloth as I here shouting coming from the square and it sounds like Gale. Katniss and I run over there and weave through the crowd to see some man whipping Gale and we run over there and jump in front of Gale as the whip slashes across my face which hurts like hell. Katniss helps me up as the man whips Gale again so I stand in front of Katniss who is in front of Gale.

"Katniss, Vic its okay. just go , its okay" Gale pants

"Move" The man says to us

"No" I say

"You want another" He asks raising his whip

"Go ahead " I say but he pulls out his gun and aims it at me

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! " Haymitch shouts as he comes running over and stands in front of me

"Get out of my way" The man shouts at him still aiming the gun at my head

"No, you don't want to shoot her" Haymitch says to the man

"How about I shoot both of you" He asks us

"No! Don't shoot him" I shout to the man

"Look, Commander, you're new here. trust me , I'm trying to help you. I'm Haymitch. You recognise them ? Victoria Black and Katniss Everdeen , darlings of the Capitol" Haymitch says to him

"They interfered with a peace keeper" The man says as he lowers his gun

"I never said they were smart. Look you already got a couple of lashes in , alright?" Haymitch tells him

"That's not good enough. There and agitator." The man shouts as he raises his gun at Haymitch and Peeta comes running over as well

"Easy, easy" Peeta says as the gun is aimed at him but Haymitch pulls him behind him

"Look are you sure Snow wants four dead Victors here? because that's what we're looking at , its bad enough that you marked up their faces on the eve of Katniss's big wedding. Let it go and we will too" Haymitch says firmly

"All right, but next time its the firing squad ." He says to Haymitch

"Excellent idea" Haymitch says which cause me to whack him on the back

"I don't care who they are. Clear the square!" The man shouts in Haymitch's face which causes him to jump back " You're all under curfew. Anyone out after dark will be shot on sight" The man yells before turning to us "Get'em outta here" The man says as he walks of and we untie Gale from the pole and pick him up.

"Its Gale" I shout as I open the Everdeen's door

"Get him here" Mrs Everdeen shouts as she and prim, clear the table and we lay Gale on it who sobs in pain.

"New head peace keeper, not entirely peaceful" Haymitch tells Mrs Everdeen

"Missed you eye. Doesn't need stitches" Prim says as she looks at Gale

"Peeta get some snow, Prim grind the herbs " Katniss says to them as she leans over Gale worrying as Mrs Everdeen pours some alcohol over the deep cuts which causes him to groan

"What is it that's hurting him" I ask panicked

" He needs morphling" Mrs Everdeen says as she puts the alcohol down next to me and Haymitch takes it and pours it into a cup

" Its okay , you'll be okay" I say to Gale as Mrs Everdeen gets out a needle that Prim then takes and puts it into Gale which makes him grunt louder.

"Its getting late, you guys should head home we will let you know how he is tomorrow" Mrs Everdeen says and I say goodbye to Gale and Me , Haymitch and Peeta all head home and I hope Gale will be oaky.
