I sit on the sofa with Haymitch and Effie, just staring at the screen. At Katniss. The countdown begins and Katniss looks terrified I cant imagine how her mum, Prim and Gale feel watching his. Peeta doesn't look as nervous as Katniss as soon as it hits 1 everyone runs in different directions , Peeta runs away and Katniss grabs the bag closest to her and makes a run for it until she trips over and cloves chucks knifes at her but luckily Katniss dodges them and makes a run for it into the woods.

Within the first day around half of them were killed most were within the first couple of seconds. The careers , Rue, Thresh, Foxface , Peeta and Katniss were left. Each time a tribute dies , the sound of a cannon goes off and at night the remaining tributes can see who has died that day.

Each day is the same , we watch the games to see who is still in and who has died and then me and Haymitch go around the Capitol trying to get sponsors for Katniss and Peeta. I hate going around and talking to everyone , acting like you love the Capitol , love the games and love President Snow which of course I do not. I have to wear the most uncomfortable and bright dresses with a ton of makeup and heels that are so high that I cant even walk so Haymitch has to help me.

Peeta is with the Careers pretending to help them find Katniss. They want to find Katniss as she is the biggest threat in that arena so they want to get her out of the way first. I hope Peeta is smart enough to leave them as soon as because if not, they are going to kill him with the first chance they can. Katniss stays up in a tree at night , which is what I did when in my games so its harder for a passing tribute to see you although the game makers, know her location so they could divert a tribute to her and make sure they find her.
