I wake up and look around me to see everyone else still asleep so I get up and I see fog floating towards us, I put my hand out but i scream when it touches my hand

"Run! Run! The fog is poison" I scream out to them and they all get up and we run with Mags on Finnick's shoulders away from the fog that's closes in on us. We all pant as we run and I trip over the root of a tree

"Vic" Peeta shouts as he helps me up but the fog gets us and we groan in pain but we continue to run as fast as we can. I hear Finnick screaming from behind as the fog gets him and Mags

"Peeta" I shout as he falls down from the pain and Finnick and Mags come over " I cant carry him, Peeta please" I say whimpering from pain

"Mags? Mags!" Finnick shouts as Mags walk towards the fog and i hold him back "Mags" Finnick shouts as her cannon goes off

"Finnick, we have to go" I shout to him as the fog comes closer

"All right, come on, come on" Finnick says as he helps me pick Peeta up and we make our way from the fog as quick as we can all panting and groaning at the fog touching us. He all roll down the hill and i see the fog coming closer put stop as it nears us and disappears. I see some kind of animal in the tree above but i ignore it and i see a pond near me and i reach to it and put my hand in it which hurts but it releases the poison of my skin.

"The water, the water helps" i say to them and Peeta comes over as i slide into the pond further groaning. Me and Peeta pick Finnick up and we pull him into the pond and he hisses in pain.



"I'm sorry about Mags" i say to Finnick

"She was never gonna make it" Finnick says as he looks up at something and i follow his gaze and i see some kind of monkey making its way to us so i reach for my arrows and load my bow and aim it at it and more join its side and they all growl at us.

"Peeta" i say to him

"Ye" he says from the tree

"Walk over here slowly" i say to him not removing my eyes from the animals that all growl. " Get to the beach "I say as i shoot the animal and Peeta and Finnick stab them as they leap onto us. I get pushed into under the water and the monkey tries biting my face off and i cant hold it back and i begin to struggle to breathe , the monkey gasps and i feel a hand pull me up and i gasp for air as Peeta helps me out of the water.

"We gotta get to the beach" Peeta shouts and we run towards it while killing the creatures on our way, Peeta trips and i make my way to him as a person comes out of the tree and leaps on the monkey as i trip and a monkey starts growling at me and leaps to me as Finnick stabs it and helps me up.

"Who is that" I ask Peeta looking at the person who has been bitten in the neck.

"A morphling, help me get her" Peeta shouts and i grab her other arm and we run onto the beach and into the water and the monkeys turn away. Me and Peeta but the Morphling into the water and she starts wheezing

"It's okay, hey you wanna see something ? look up" I tell her so she can see the sunrise

"Its beautiful isn't it all those colours" Peeta says as she closes her eyes and the cannon goes of and we release her body into the water and the aircraft picks it up and takes it away

"She sacrificed herself and we didn't even know her name" Peeta says to me

"You think she sacrificed herself" i ask him

"That what it looks like" Peeta says to me

"That doesn't make any sense" i say to him

"Do either you want my fish" i ask them

"You need to eat it" Peeta says to me

"I did, i have three bites" I say to him

"You need to eat all of it" Finnick says as Peeta cracks the shell he found open

"For you , a late engagement present" Peeta says as he hands me a pearl

"Thanks" i say as i hear a women screaming

"That's new" Peeta says as we stand up and see water flooding out of part of the forest the other side and two cannons go off

"Someone's here" I say as i hear talking coming from our right and i see Johanna, Wiress and Beetee

"Johanna" Finnick says as he goes over to them "Johanna" He yells as he gets closer to them

"Finnick" Johanna shouts as they hug

"Guess we have more allies" Peeta says and we walk over to them and there all covered in red stuff

"We were all they way deep into the jungle where i thought it was going to be safe, that's when the rain started. i thought it was rain, turns out it was blood" Johanna said as she gritted her teeth

"Tick tock, tick tock" Wiress says next to Johanna

"It was chocking us, we were stumbling around in it, that's when blight hit the force field, he wasn't much but he was from home" Johanna says

"Whats wrong with her" i ask to Johanna as Wiress keeps saying 'tick tock' over and over again

"She's in shock" Beetee says as i get this weird feeling in my throat and i go over to the bushes and i throw up all of my food

"Vic? Vic you alright" Peeta shouts as he comes over to me and i continue to throw up

"I'm fine, probably something wrong with the fish i ate" i say to him as i wipe my mouth and turn to see everyone looking at me

"This the first time you've been sick" Johanna asks as she comes over to me

"No yesterday morning as well. Why?" i ask her

"Just wondering, come on lets get you cleaned up" She says as she leads me to the water and i clean my face as she cleans the blood of her and Wiress comes over to us still muttering 'tick tock'

"Thank you , for being so kind" i say to her as i get the blood out of Wiress's hair

"No problem i did it for you " She says to me " When were you gonna tell me you got engaged" she asks me

"Firstly, i didn't realise you knew and secondly, there might not even be a wedding considering i might not make it out of here alive" I say to her with a sad smile

"You will , I'm gonna go back to the beach ,good luck with nuts" Johanna says as she walks away just as lighting hits the same big tree again.

"Tick tock" Wiress says to me

"Tick Tock" i repeat and that's when it hits me its a clock " Its a clock, Wiress your a genius " i say to her with a smile
