Yeah, she so didn't believe me, but it was a good enough cover up for me. "So, how are you doing, Stefan?" "Well, not as bad as you, clearly" I joked and we laughed.

"Um, there's, uh, there's something I actually need to talk to you about" I said. "Ok, I promise I didn't steal anything from your house, it was either Elena or Damon is trying to frame me!" She laughed, making me laugh.

"No, nothing's gone missing yet, but, now I'm a little suspicious" I said, raising my eyebrow at her. Making her laugh, which made me laugh.

"What is it you need to talk to me about?" "I'm just gonna go ahead and say it, ok?" "Ok, you do that" "Because its the best thing to do" "Right, so do it" "Right" "Stefan, just say it" "Maya, I like you" I said, faster than what I meant. "Please tell me you caught it"

"I caught it" She chuckled. "Ugh good, I really didn't wanna repeat that" We laughed. "Considering the rough time you had the first time, I don't think you could say it a second time" "Thanks for the faith" I laugh, and she chuckles.

"Stefan?" "Yeah?" "Why'd you decide to tell me that now?" "Well, because I wasn't sure I was gonna be able to do it you were in pretty rough shape, so when you woke up, I had to tell you" "Just in case something happens?" "Not necessarily, but just because I almost didn't get the chance to tell you before so I needed to tell you as soon as I could"

"Oh, ok" She said. "But Stefan?" "Hm?" "I like you, too... Its what me and Care were talking about" "Really?" "Yeah, go ask her" "No its a waste of time" "She told you already, didn't she?" "Yeah" I laughed and so did she.

"Thanks for telling me, Stefan" "No problem" "You know, just in case I did have-" "No, your not gonna have any thing happen to you, because unlike last time, I'm not leaving your side, unless you tell me to... Or you have to use the bathroom" I laugh at the end and so does she.

"I won't want you to leave" "Good, because I won't" "Good" "Yeah, but, my sister" "She actually told me, along with Caroline and Bonnie, to come and tell you" "Huh, wow"

"She doesn't know you like me, does she?" "She does now" Elena said, smiling. "Just do each other already" We laughed and Maya put her hands over her bright red face. "Here, Maya, I got you this" Elena said, chuckling.

"It's a 'Frosty' from 'Wendy's' I know how much you love them" "Thank you- you didn't put any poison in this did you? Are you trying to kill me?" She laughed. "What?" Elena asks, chuckling. "Why are you being so nice?" "Your in the hospital" "Extra, extra nice. Nicer than that" "Your being paranoid" "Fine, but if I die tonight I will come back and haunt You!" She laughed as Elena and I left her to eat it in peace.

"So? Did you talk to the nurse?" I ask when I sit down outside the room with everyone else. "Yep" "And? What'd she say? Is she?" I asked.

"Damon, is she or is she not pregnant?"
