Little did we know, she'd be a tad bit different when she woke up. Well I mean she'd obviously be a vampire but she'd be a vampire and a little different in another way, too.

Caroline shared my plan with Bonnie, Tyler and Ric, so they distracted the others as I slipped into the room and gave Maya some of my blood.

When I slip in, I slowly and quietly close the door. "Alright, Maya, you gotta do this. Not just for your friends, but Elena and... Stefan. He ran off, tears were actually running down his face so, no doubt he turned it off. You gotta wake up so you can bring him back, nobody else can do it... Plus, even I miss you... Just a little" I chuckle, a tear or two coming down my face.

I breathe out, getting nervous; roll up my sleeve and bite into my wrist. Putting it to her mouth I leave it there just waiting and waiting. "Come on, Maya, come on" I said. "Stefan and Elena need you, do it for Elena she's a mess... Stefan's gone to Klaus probably which means people are gonna start dropping dead. Come on, Maya please come back, I need you to come back!" I started to cry.

"For me? Come back, for me, I know you wanted me to stop being such an asshole, I'm sorry for being such an ass to you... And to Stefan!" Finally her eyes fly open and her hands grip my arm drinking my blood harder.

I laughed, crying in the mix, while she moans in pleasure, tasting the blood. "Ok, Maya, that's enough" I said pulling my hand back. "You have no idea how glad I am that your alive right now" "Damon?" "Yeah? What's wrong?"

"I I died, how how am I here?" "Maya, everyone, including me-" I chuckled. "-was like seriously upset, Elena was on the floor, Bonnie, Tyler and Caroline sobbing, Jenna and Ric sobbing, Stefan walked out crying" She tilted her head to the side, her eyebrows drew together.

"Maya, he turned it off" "Turned what off?" "Right you don't know about that stuff" "He turned his humanity off, also known as turning off his emotions" "Because of me?" "Not because of you, but because he loved you"

"What?" "Maya, he thinks your still dead, he's one of the reasons your alive your family is the other" "What did you do to me, Damon?" "I turned you" Her eyebrows drew together again.

"How long have you been alive?" "I'll just say a long time, Stefan's younger he's only 135" "Years old?" "Months old-" We chuckled.

"Yes years old" "Oh my gosh" "You've got a lot to learn, but you can do it, I promise" "Where's he at?" "Probably New Orleans" "Why there?" "He's with the biggest, oldest, and worst vampire vampire... His name is Klaus" "Mikealson?" "Yeah, you know him?" "No, but I've heard of him"

"I'm not stupid, you guys try and hide things from me, I know he tried to kill Elena, I know about Elijah and Rebekah" "How'd you know?" "The walls are thin" "Hm I'll keep that in mind" "Good"

"So what are we gonna do about me?" "You'll get through it, but Elena, Caroline, Bonnie, Tyler and Ric are the only ones who know I did this. You can't tell anyone your a vampire, you cant feed on anyone in public, you can't show any signs your a vampire in public"
