I'm Being My Sister

"Um, you told me something" "What do you mean?" "You, ahem, you told me you love me" "Oh" "Yeah"  ~ I looked the opposite direction of Damon, it's like I couldn't even look at the man.

Even though I know he already knew that before. I knew he loves me as well, we both love each other, and we both know that. So I don't know why that surprises me.

"Did I make things weird?" "No, no" "Why won't you look at me now?" "I don't know to be honest" "So look at me then" "Don't make me, please"

"Maya, look at me" He said again. I was hesitant, but I knew he wouldn't leave me alone until I did, so. Our eyes locked and his were still just as blue as before, maybe even more beautiful.

"See, I'm still the same person I was before" "I know" "Then nothing will change?" "Maybe" I said, barely paying attention. "Maya?" "Hm?" "I want to kiss you" "What's stopping you?" He smirks.

"It'd be ok if I did it?" "Mhm" I mumble as he kisses me, gently at first. He pulls back and then we kiss again, more passionate this time. I moan into the kiss, making him smirk.

The next time we pull apart, we're both breathing heavily. He kisses me again, but harder this time. Starting to kiss my jawline and down to my neck.

I moan and tug at his hair, then realize that I'm being like my sister. I am Elena now. Stefan just broke up with me and I'm onto his brother, Elena did the same thing!

When that registers in my head, I get up as quickly as I can. He looks up at me, confused.

"I'm sorry, Damon but I can't" "What do you mean?" "I love you, but I can't do this" He looked so hurt, I had to look away. "Damon, don't you understand? I'm being like my sister! I'm not only her twin now, but I'm being her! I'm switching brothers, Damon!" He looks down and then stands up.

"Maya, your not your sister by any means at all... either of them" "Either of them?" He explained to me something else that I missed. That I'm a Petrova sister.

"Your joking" "I'm sorry" "Well, now I'm like both of them! My real one and my fake one!" "Listen, Maya, your far from your sisters, ok?" "How? Stefan just broke up with me and I'm over here making out with you!"

He figured out a way to convince me otherwise and calmed me down. I laid down for the night on their couch, since I usually stay in Stefan's bed.

When I woke, I didn't know what bed I was in or where I was. I groan and get up, looking at myself in the mirror.

"Thought you'd never wake up" I hear Damon say. "Tell me I didn't sleep with you last night?" "You didn't sleep with me last night, I brought you to a different room, I didn't want you to sleep on the couch" "Oh, thanks"

I go downstairs and see Stefan feeding the baby. "Um, I'll see you guys later" I say, avoiding Stefan's look. I didn't want to see him, look at him, or anything.

"Ok" Damon and Stefan said together.
