Chapter 15: We have a chance at surviving

"We have been walking for 2 hours!" Brianna groans
"We also had pit stops"
"My legs hurt"
"I'm hungry" Jackie puts in.
"You have a choice, either we'll take a break and when we start walking again we won't take another break until someone collapses. Or you could put up with walking just a little bit longer and we'll stay the night. Which one?"
"Keep walking" Kyle comments
"Yeah" Jonathan agrees
"Lets keep going" Matt looks red in the face and has really tired eyes.
"Stay" Brianna cries out in agony
"Yeah, I vote we stay" Emma puts her foot down.
"Lets go" Shayla pleads. Coen shakes his head in agreement.
"Let's just keep going" Jackie puffs
I look at Callan. He doesn't look at me directly but he shrugs and says; "whatever". He is still angry. I sigh.
"Lets go then" I turn around and start walking.

~Matt's POV~
She's hot when she's angry, but I am really tired. Our last break was half an hour ago. Oh well. I'll just keep walking. I catch up to her and walk in front to be a smart ass.
~End of Matt's POV~

Mmm-mmm. He is hot when he sweats. His top and his shorts...
Huh?
"Huh? did you say something?" I am quickly shaken out of my thoughts.
"Yeah. I said, you look hot"
"That's because I am- wait. You mean that hot...oh. Thanks" I smile super awkwardly. Shit! How embarrassing. He laughs.
"You're welcome"
I keep smiling and keep walking.

~Brianna's POV~
That little bitch! He's mine! ugh. I hate her. I scrunch up my nose and stick my finger up at her. Callan notices me sticking my finger up at her and asks what I'm doing.
"She's talking to my boyfriend!"
"Wait! you date him?"
"Well. not yet, but I will!"
"Okay" He sticks his middle finger up at Matt.
"Why are you sticking your finger up at Matt?"
"He stole my girlfriend"
"Oh my god! You like Caitlyn?"
"Yeah, I kissed her"
"What?!"
"I kissed her, but she didn't kiss me back. All because of him"
"I've got an idea that will give you, Caitlyn and me, Matt"
"What?"
"We make them jealous"
He catches on to what I'm saying and nods his head.
~End of Brianna's POV and beginning of Callan's~
Me and Brianna walk in front of Caitlyn and Matt, laughing. We pretend to be having a really good time.
"I'm glad to see Callan is making Brianna happy. A minute ago she was complaining and now she's laughing" I hear Caitlyn comment faintly. I move my hand closer to Brianna's and she grasps it.
~End of Callan's POV~
Matt grabs my hand and they intertwine. He is being cute and it's making me- feel loved. I smile at him and wrap my arm around his waist.
Up ahead I see what looks like a farm.
"Oh my god! Guys! Farm!" Everyone runs up to see if it is true. All gasping, we jog all the way there. My fingers fiddle with the latch as I pry it open. We run along the pathway, up the stairs and to the door. I knock continuously, hoping for an answer. Just as I hoped, the door swung open and out walked two farm boys.
"Well, howdy there!" The taller one winks at me and beckons us all to come in. Longing for rest, we take up the offer. The house is big and neat. It looks in good condition. Even if it wasn't, it's still a place to sleep.
"Pick a room and get settled in. We'll call you down when suppers' ready"
I run up stairs, everyone tagging along. There are 5 rooms.
"Two per room" I say to everyone.
"We'll share" Matt winks at me.
Only one room has two single beds in it.
"Mine" Jackie holds her hand in the air and jumps on one of the beds.
"I'll take the other one" Callan chucks his bag onto the bed and walks in.
"Me and Emma will take that room" Kyle and Emma walk into the room and close the door.
"Oooh!" Brianna chimes smartly. I laugh.
"We'll take that room" Shayla and Coen say at the same time before turning to each other and laughing.
"You and Jonathan will have to share that room" I shrug at the pair as the awkwardly pace into the room.
"Lets go" Matt smiles and walks me into the room.
"So. This is where we will be staying" I twirl around the room like a little child and Matt joins in. We are being two spastics.
