"Good morning" Matt chirped
"Ugh. No" I groan
"Come on. We have to get up. They're making breakfast"
I sigh.
"Fine"
We walk down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"Sit down!" One of the boys smiled.
"Oh great! Another morning person" I sound angry.
"I thought sleeping in an actual bed would make you happy?"
"I just didn't get much sleep. Plus I'm not really a morning person.
"Hmm" Brianna agrees.
We both just fold our arms and rest our heads, nearly asleep on the table.
"There you go" The other boy slid the plate across the table to me. I caught it and stared at it. "You don't like pancakes?"
"Yeah, I do"
I stab one of the pancakes with a fork and shove it in my mouth.
"She mustn't have gotten any sleep" the taller one murmured. I just roll my eyes. As Callan walks into the kitchen and flops himself on a chair, I remember the previous night...
"Good?" The farm boy, Sebastian asks him.
"Mm-hm" He mustn't have gotten any sleep either. Great. He looks at me for a brief second then asks Emma to pass the syrup. She slides it down the table and it stops and tips over in front of him. Lucky the lid was on.After breakfast I speed walked up to Callan and grabbed him by the arm to stop him.
"What?!" He raised his voice.
"I'm sorry, okay? About last night, I'm sorry!"
He just stares at me blankly, then quickly regains emotion.
"You slept with me and then went to bed with another guy!"
"One; I wish you would stop saying I slept with you. We only made out. Two; I didn't go to bed with another guy, I went to the bed I was staying in at this place"
"Wow. Just leave me alone"
I do something stupid.
"What does that mean?"
"Nothing. It means nothing"
"Ah-"
"Bye"
Matt holds my hand as we proceed outside.
"I need to talk to you"
"Okay. What is it?"
"Somewhere private"
"Over by the tree?"
"Sure"
I hope this isn't going to be a repeat of last night with a different guy.
"It's too confusing. One minute you kiss me the next you're walking to the barn with Callan late at night. Who do you like?"
Oh shit! He saw me and Callan walking to the barn. Why isn't he angry?
"I-I"
"What?"
"I like both of you's"
"Well you're gonna have to choose. Let me give you a reason why you should choose me"To be continued...
