This is the first fanart that was sent to me. They are all the characters from the story and what they look like in @Biscuits_N_Tea 's mind. The creator of this particular fanart is @Biscuits_N_Tea (If you haven't already guessed). She is really good at drawing. You should go check her out. She writes horror/thriller books. Ok, now I'm going to name the characters above:

Boys-

Brock (which is the new guy's name), Coen, Kian, Kyle (not Brianna's cousin. She didn't add him), Matt, Jonathan, Mitch & Callan.

Girls-

Emma, Brianna, Caitlyn, Shayla & Jackie.

I know it's pretty sad putting Kyle in after he died, but now we have something to remember him by. There will be another fanart with just Kyle and Emma.

Ok, moving onto the chapter...

4 days later...

We killed the attackers, got Shayla back and escaped Phoenix. We've been on the road for days. So far we've only come across one gas station which had three zombies in it. Everyone is still shaken up about Phoenix and what happened. Emma hasn't said a word since...since Kyle. I'm still processing it myself. He's really gone. I don't want to think about it.

Up ahead I notice a coloured blur. Must be another gas station. Good, because this van is running out of fuel. I focus on the station and notice something. A car.

"Is that a car?" Brianna asks.

"Yes" I confirm.

"What if there are survivors?" She asks a little excited.

"I'll wish them good luck and warn them about...Phoenix" I pause before saying 'Phoenix'. It's so hard to think of that place now. I get on the verge of tears every time it's brought up. I miss him so much. I watched him get ripped apart alive. He died in front of me. Right in front of me. The tears. The soundless words. The shouts of pain. Tears roll down my cheeks

"Are you ok?" Matt rubs my leg.

"I miss him!" The words seem to fall out of my mouth. Everyone turns to look at me.

"Okay, let's just pull over. Get some fresh air" He comforts me.

I nod my head in approval and pull over into the station, in front of the gas pump. I practically leap out of the van and fall to the ground. Water streaming down my face.

"Hey, hey, hey. It's ok. Everything's ok" He pulls me into a hug.
