-UNDERWORLD-
Hades arrived with Kore to the gates of the underworld as he continued their journey towards his palace. Once there, He stopped the chariot and horses in front of the palace.
Kore had had her eyes closed, pressed really hard through the whole travel. Hades stepped down from the chariot and turned to look at Kore, who still had her eyes closed. Since she felt the chariot stop she opened her eyes a little... just to peek. First thing she saw was Hades' face, still as before, grey with his eyes black.
She closed her eyes again, scared. He looked at her, she was shaking. He felt horrible... Most of the servants were there, waiting at the gates of the palace. Phylo had arranged the things in the palace, such as a bedroom for Kore. He also got a recently arrived female soul, who still had a bit of color to what's suppose to be her skin, to be Kore's companion in an attempt to make her less scared. Her name was Cora.
- "Phylo." Hades yelled angry.
- "Yes my lord." Phylo said while pushing Cora towards the chariot.
Cora went near the chariot as Hades walked away and entered the Palace.
- "Come your highness." Cora said while grabbing Kore's hand. "It's okay, your highness, he already went inside." She said whispering.
Kore carefully opened her eyes. She looked around...slowly, before coming down. That place was like nothing she had ever imagined before, dark...dead. There were no bright colors, only shades of grey and ashes that filled the air. Sadness filled her heart. She didn't know what would happen to her, but her sadness came from another place. She understood Hades a little more. She now knew why he took deep breaths when she met him. It was obvious now, why someone would want to fill their lungs with that fresh air...with life. She looked in front of her and there was a lady...or she looked like one. She wanted to run, but where would she run to? She didn't know the place. There were souls all around the chariot. She was so scared to take chances. Kore took Cora's hand and stepped down the chariot. She almost fell, she was tired and dizzy from screaming and worrying. They entered the palace and it was the darkest place she had ever been to; she could barely see. There were candles everywhere. Cora took her to a room.
- "Your highness, this will be your room." Cora said while Kore entered the room looking all around it. "There are warm clothes on that closet over there" She pointed. "You will start to get cold soon... If you need anything I'll be at the end of the hall." She said as she bowed, leaving the room and closing the door behind her.
Kore was standing in the room while a million things went through her head. Why was she there? Was she just kidnapped? Should she go and confront Hades? Should she try and escape? No. She was too frighten for that, besides, she didn't even knew the way out. She looked down at the dress she was wearing. It was a beautiful dress made out of blue flowers. They were withering...dying and turning to ashes.
- "Oh no... no, no, no, no." She said with a broken voice on the verge of crying while grabbing her lower part of her dress with both her hands.
She tried to revive them, but it was a failed attempt. She started crying. Her eyes were red...under her eyes was red. She was tired. She fell on the floor and continued crying. Hades was in his room, sitting at the edge of his bed with his head low, inclined forward with his arms resting on his thighs. He could hear her cry. He didn't know what to do or what to say, he was distressed himself. He needed his time...He knew he had to talk to her, say something to soothe her...but he needed to soothe himself first. After all, He had all eternity for her...
