-UNDERWORLD-
When the morning came and Kore woke up, Hades was nowhere to be found. She stood from the bed and for the first time she went out the room without anyone coming to get her. She felt more comfortable now for some reason. She walked down the corridor and towards the dining room, and came across Cora.
- "Morning your highness, breakfast's on the table." Cora said bowing.
- "Thanks...oh and Cora?" Kore said. "I'm sorry for the way I talked to you the other day. I truly apologize."
- "Your highness, please, there's no reason to apologize." Cora said with a smile on her face.
Kore smiled back at her and sat at the table.
- "Cora, where's Hades?" Kore asked while grabbing a piece of bread from her plate.
- "Oh, he had some businesses on the realm he'll be back..."
- "In a few days..." Kore interrupted Cora. "Thank you." She smiled.
- "If you need anything let me know." Cora said while walking away.
Kore sat there thinking to herself "He didn't even said goodbye." She was bothered by that, but why? She thought. She was starting to feel something deeply strong towards him that she couldn't explain.
-OLYMPUS-
Back "home" Demeter had looked everywhere for her daughter. Hecate had helped her look on every corner of the human realm, Olympus and the sea. Hecate was the goddess of witchcraft and night. She could talk with the dead; she was the goddess of the twilight who saw everything that happened in the shadows. She also was a good friend of Hades. She didn't knew what happened to Kore. She was busy with human business. She helped Demeter look everywhere there is without finding her daughter and that could mean only one thing; she was in the underworld. How could she have gotten there? There was only one person to allow such a bizarre thing, Zeus. She told Demeter what her hypothesis was and Demeter went straight to Zeus. As usual, she found him sitting on his throne.
- "Demeter!" Zeus said with a smile on his face sitting on his throne.
- "ZEUS!" Demeter said with great anger reflecting on her voice and her face. "You lied to me; you know where my daughter is! GIVE HER TO ME! She has to be in the underworld, I've searched everywhere."
- "Yes." Zeus said unamused. "She is in the underworld... with her husband."
- "No..." Demeter said while receding... "You didn't ...Zeus." She uttered with a worried face.
- "She is now Queen of the Underworld, wife of Hades, as my command. I can't give her to you, Demeter; She's not mine to give and she's not yours any longer." Zeus said.
- "GIVE HER TO ME" She screamed as everything moved around her.
- "ENOUGH!" He yelled with the loudest voice ever heard as he stood up.
- "I swear...Zeus...if you don't bring back my child from the hands of Hades I will perish the earth...there will be no vegetation and all life will die." She threatened as she vanished.
Zeus was unamused by Demeter's words and ignored them. He didn't plan on taking Kore back from the underworld, He knew she belonged there.
