Hades arrived to the underworld. He appeared in the middle of the city. When he landed all the souls bowed down on their knees to him. He was raging. His eyes were all back and veins were notable on his face.

He was disoriented, looking around as if he didn't know the place

He was disoriented, looking around as if he didn't know the place. He vanished again and appeared inside his palace. There was Phylo, waiting for him.

- "Lord." Phylo said while bowing. "You've arrived rather early."

- "I shouldn't have gone there." Hades said while shaking his head. "I shouldn't have Phylo...Zeus...He has commanded me to marry someone."

- "With all due respect my lord, that's good news. Finally you'll have company down here, other than us of course." Phylo said.

- "It's not the marriage...Phylo...Is to whom..." Hades said with a distressed face looking at Phylo in the eyes.

Back at Kore's garden all the nymphs were doing their daily jobs. It had been a few weeks since her visit to Olympus. Kore was lying on the grass looking at the sun when Nereid came and laid down next her.

- "What'chu doing?" Nereid asked.

- "Just looking at Helios...He's been doing the same job since before my mother... before the Olympian gods... that's a really long time." Kore answered.

- "Yeah...waking up every morning to run across the sky every day since before we can even imagine...All alone." Nereid replied.

Kore thought about Hades. She thought about how, just as Helios, Hades was alone at the underworld...doing his job, for eternity.

- "You've been distant lately, Kore, are you okay?" Nereid asked.

- "Yes...Well, no actually." She said while turning to face Nereid with her elbow on the grass and her hand supporting her head. "I can't stop thinking about Hades...you know."

- "What do you mean child?" Nereid asked scared. "Did he curse you?"

- "Of course not!" Kore yelled. "He didn't...I've been thinking about that precisely...He wasn't as described...He was subtle...gentle, one might say."

- "You've always been a curious one. Curiosity killed the cat, you know? Don't trust that god, Kore. In fact, don't trust any of them too much. You have eternity to learn that...but the sooner, the better." Nereid said while standing up. "Now come, want to grow something by the river?" She asked while smiling and lending her hand to Kore so she could stand up.

Kore smiled, reached for her hand and stood up while laughing. They walked towards the river and sat near it. They got to work, but Kore's head was somewhere else. She was fascinated with Hades' mystery. She wasn't in a rush, but she used to wondered everyday when she would see him again. She knew it was a lost cause, her mother only saw him a few times over the last centuries herself. Still, she couldn't help it. She couldn't stop thinking about Hades.
