-HUMAN REALM: THE GARDEN-
At the garden the nymphs became aware that Kore was nowhere to be found. They searched everywhere. They quickly invoke Demeter's presence. When she arrived, all the nymphs were scared; they didn't know how to tell the bad news.
- "I was a little busy, girls, is everything alright? " Demeter said while looking around trying to find Kore amongst the nymphs. "Where's Kore?" She asked.
- "Your highness...We haven't been able to find Kore since this morning." Nereid said while bowing down.
- "What do you mean you can't find her?" Demeter asked with a scared looked on her face.
- "She went to the other side of the river as usual and didn't come back...We searched the garden...every inch of it, several times your highness...She's not here." Nereid said worried.
Demeter was afraid. Her daughter hadn't disobeyed her before. She wouldn't do this; she wouldn't disappear. It wasn't like her. She knew something had happened to her. Demeter disappeared from the garden and headed straight to Olympus.
-OLYMPUS-
When Demeter arrived to Olympus, she stormed off to Zeus. He was in his throne, watching down at humanity as usual.

- "ZEUS!" Demeter screamed in rage as she walked towards him.
- "Demeter, lovely to see you. What brings you here? I haven't requested your presence." Zeus said calmly, not moving whatsoever.
- "Where is my daughter?" She asked furious as she stood in front of his throne.

- "What do you mean where is your daughter?" He asked unamused.
- "MY DAUGHTER! Where is she? She's not at her garden...where is my daughter?" She yelled with a broken voice, tears and rage in her eyes.
- "Demeter I don't know where is your daughter, I can't be looking out for every god there is... I have duties." Zeus said raising his voice a little.
- "Find her." She demanded.
- "Have you lost your place?" He said while standing up and walking towards her. "You don't give commands to me." He said pointing at himself.
- "I'm not commanding you...I'm asking you to find your daughter...Brother" Demeter said while tears fell from her angry face.
- "You should have listened to me. Hermes asked for her hand. Apollo asked for her hand. You rejected both of them...she would have been safe up here at Olympus." Zeus said. "Go to Hecate, she'll help you find your daughter." He said while turning his back on her.
-UNDERWORLD-
Kore woke up on the floor; she realized she had fallen asleep lying there. She felt cold. She looked at her body and saw she was naked. Ashes were all over the floor; her dress had disintegrated and the flowers that once were beautiful and blue, were in the past now. She cleaned the ashes from her body with her hands, stood up and opened the closet. There were black dresses and big cloaks. She got dressed and felt warm in an instant. She had never worn such dark clothes, but it was all she had at the moment.

She sat on the bed and took a deep breath, and started thinking. She had to face Hades at some point, but didn't knew how to leave the room. What if he was not what she made up of him on her mind? She didn't knew him. They exchanged only a few words, but that's it. She felt stupid and naïve. At that moment someone knock the door, she was startle.
