Evelyn leaned the seat back and looked at Natasha as they sped off. "So - why are you out this early?"

"Well - Bruce and Tony said they had the results of your tests and I figured you would want to go over the results as soon as possible," Natasha said, slowing down for a red light.

Evelyn bit her lip and nodded her head, "Thank you."

Natasha looked over at Evelyn and saw the tension in her face. "So why does Steve and Bucky owe you lunch? You didn't agree to go on a date with both of them did you?"

"Seriously Nat?" Evelyn laughed and rolled her eyes at Natasha, "no we had a race and the losing team had to buy lunch."

"Wait - you and Sam beat Steve and Bucky? Like two Super Soldiers?" Natasha said as they pulled into the parking of the Tower. "I cannot wait until you tell me what the tests show if you can beat them in a race."

"Well, we didn't exactly play fair," Evelyn laughed "but I held my own until the last little bit and I had to distract Bucky to win."

"Distract how exactly?" Natasha asked, turning towards Evelyn with her eyebrow raised.

"I may have made a suggestive comment about the perfect place for a date - being his bedroom." Evelyn said, jumping out of the car hearing Natasha gasp and start laughing behind her.

"No! Oh my God Evie that's genius," Natasha said walking around the car laughing at her friend who was blushing. "I'm guessing he was as shocked as me by you saying that?"

"More - I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head," Evelyn laughed as they walked towards the elevator.

"So it's safe to say that there is some mutual flirting happening between the two of you?" Natasha said pushing the button to go to a floor Evelyn hadn't been to before.

"Yeah, we kinda slept in the same bed last night," Evelyn said watching the numbers going up to their destination.

"Wait - what did you just day?!" Natasha said turning her

"It wasn't anything like that Nat! We were both fully clothed but it was honestly wonderful. Please don't say anything because I don't know if he wants people to know he stayed with me to help with my nightmares," Evelyn said, her eyes pleading.

"I won't say a word Evie - did he have any nightmares?" Natasha asked getting off the elevator.

"No, but he probably took the serum before he came to my room," Evelyn shrugged as they made their way down the hall.

As they approached a plain door Evelyn read the door and saw Director Fury and turned towards Natasha and tilted her head.

"It will just be you, Bruce, Tony, and Fury. They wanted to review everything at once so you didn't have to go over it more times than you wanted. If you want to talk after I'll be around all day - but don't feel pressured to tell anyone until you're ready," Natasha said standing to one side of the door.

Evelyn grabbed her in a hug, "I'll talk to you later tonight Nat. Thank you for everything." Evelyn stood back, took a deep breath and walked into Fury's office.

The room was large and Evelyn thought it would have housed the meeting the other day easily. The view of the skyline was amazing but she noticed that the desk was in a corner facing away from the view. Evelyn thought this was definitely due to Fury wanting a strategic advantage so no one could sneak up on him. Fury was standing next to a long table close to the wall with a large monitor on the wall. Evelyn noticed that both Bruce and Tony were sitting at the table and as she let the door close behind her they both turned and smiled at her.
