"What?" asked Peter surprised.

"Yes, I am indeed pregnant," said Felicia softly.

Peter just clenched his jaws tightly and clenched his fists tightly, 'Is it one of her tricks to get me? '.

"I...I...*inhales deeply*... I wanted to tell you, I just figured it out 3 days ago and hatched that stupid plan to be together with you" said Felicia while sniffling.

" It's mine?? " asked Peter stoically.

"Of...Of course, it's yours" she answered stunned and then got angry, she gritted her teeth, then grabbed his collar.

" DON'T DOUBT ME PARKER, I've never let anyone be physical with me other than you when we were together. I've teased and did some stupid things, as I did with Murdock, but I never let anyone touch me except you" then she exhaled sharply.

" I'm sorry with every fibre of my being, but please doubt me, my spider. I love you" she said softly, tears again pooled in her eyes and rested her head on his chest " Don't ever doubt me" whispered Felicia in a teary voice.

Peter stood there and took in everything she said and lifted her face softly. He gazed into her teary eyes to find anything to prove she was telling lie to get to him but found none other than the truth she spoke. He started to feel a little regret, for not trusting her but he can't fault himself after experiencing failed relationships after failed relationships. He hugged her and spoke in a soft voice

" I'm sorry for what I said, I have experienced this before " he took a deep breath and recounted the painful memory to her. " This had happened with me, Gwen cheated on me with my worst enemy and I thought Gabriel and Sarah were my kids, instead Norman fathered them and other women in my life who left me for something or the other, so I'm sorry I doubted you."

'  That bitch Gwen tormenting my spider even after her death and others hurting his heart ' thought Felicia with anger, forgetting the fact that she is among those women.

" I'll never leave you my spider," said Felicia hugging him tightly.

" Promise me, Felicia" whispered Peter while his eyes stung with silent tears.

" I promise ", she whispered back and looked deeply into his hazel eyes and slowly kissed him on the lips.

He returned her kiss with his. The kiss was full of hope and love, then it heated into passion and lust.

Felicia broke the kiss and pushed him back on his bed and straddled him. There was only one thought in their respective minds.

' Finally, I'm going to have a family of my own, and I thank you for that Felicia, I love you '

' I have you back my spider, I love you '

PRESENT TIME

Spider-man was standing on the edge of the Golden bridge, from where Green Goblin threw Gwen to her death. His eyes were blank and tear stains were on his face.

His eyes were red and puffy like he was crying for a long time.

' Otto ruined my life, no one trusts me neither Avengers, Defenders nor any other hero groups, even my so-called hero family fantastic four except Franklin and Valeria. Heck even Felicity my daughter trusts me now'

' I don't have anything to live for, my daughter hates me and I can't even trust myself and others, I hope others will keep this city safe.' He wiped his face, closed his eyes and took a swan dive off the bridge and thought ' Felicity, Garry, Valeria, Franklin, Mayday I love you all.'

There was a desperate shout from where Spider-man stood before.

" PETER NO!! "

1 HOUR BEFORE

Julia Carpenter aka Madame Webb, was in her apartment,  she was taking a light nap on her couch. She woke up with a start and started breathing heavily

" PETER!! " she took deep gulps of air      " Something bad is going to happen, I need to find him and see if he's safe"

" The  web of life is in danger, the world needs him, we need him" she paused and exhaled shakily " I... I need him"

She went to her daughter's room to see her sleeping, she kissed her on her forehead. " Good night sweetie," she said lovingly and stroked her hair.

" I need to find him as soon as possible"
