WITH CAROL

The air around the battlefield thickened, charged with photon energy and tension as Aurora, with her smoldering hatred, launched herself at Carol and the Guardians. Her photon blade hummed through the air, cutting through the space between them like a razor.

Carol barely had time to react before Aurora stabbed her gut, driving the wind from her lungs. She staggered back, clutching her stomach, as Aurora sneered at her.

"You were never enough," Aurora spat, eyes burning with a crimson glow. She spun and aimed her photon blade at Flash Thompson, who, with the Anti-Venom symbiote coating his body, dodged the strike just in time.

Aurora let out a furious growl, hurling photon-powered webs toward Flash, forcing him to stay at a distance. The webs shimmered with a deadly glow, each strand sizzling with raw energy. Flash ducked and weaved, using the Anti-Venom tendrils to block and parry the attacks, but the photon webs still forced him back. His symbiote pulsed as he realized how deadly this opponent was.

"Keep your distance, Flash!" shouted Star-Lord, opening fire with his blasters. Blue and red plasma bolts shot toward Aurora, but she deflected them with ease, spinning the photon blade to knock the shots aside.

"You are like a fly," she hissed, her voice dripping with disdain.

Rocket Raccoon unloaded a barrage of heavy fire from his cannon, but Aurora dodged the incoming explosions effortlessly, closing the gap between them in the blink of an eye. Her fist, glowing with photon power, connected with Rocket's chest, sending him crashing into a nearby rock with a sickening thud. His body slumped, bleeding and motionless.

"Rocket!" Gamora screamed, her eyes burning with fury as she leaped toward Aurora, her blades glinting in the dim light. But Aurora was faster. She caught Gamora's wrist mid-strike, twisting it with a brutal crack, sending her sword clattering to the ground. With a savage knee to Gamora's gut, Aurora flung her to the side like a rag doll.

Drax charged next, roaring with fury. His fists glowed as he swung them with the force of a freight train, but Aurora dodged each strike with ease. Her eyes gleamed with malice as she grabbed Drax by the throat, lifting him off the ground. Before anyone could react, her photon blade pierced his chest with a sickening squelch, cutting straight through his heart.

Drax's eyes widened in shock before they went dull, and Aurora dropped his lifeless body to the ground without a second thought.

"Drax!" Mantis screamed, rushing toward his fallen form, but Aurora was already on her. With brutal efficiency, she slammed Mantis to the ground, her hand glowing with photon energy. The force of the impact left a crater in the earth, and Mantis coughed up blood, her body broken and limp.

Aurora stood over her, eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "Weak," she muttered, turning her gaze back to Carol and the others.

Groot, in his battle form, charged at Aurora with elongated limbs, branches forming into spears. But Aurora cut through them with her photon blade, each strike severing a piece of Groot's body until the massive tree-like figure fell in splinters at her feet.

Carol, her face contorted with grief and rage, unleashed a blast of photon energy at Aurora, striking her directly. Aurora stumbled back, momentarily stunned. But her grin returned, blood trickling from her lips as she wiped it away with the back of her hand.

"Is that all you've got, 'mother'?" she taunted, eyes glowing with crimson fury.

Carol, panting heavily, charged again, her fists blazing with energy. She struck Aurora with a powerful uppercut, sending her flying into the air. But Aurora recovered mid-flight, using her photon-powered webs to anchor herself back down. She swung back toward Carol, fists crackling with power.
