The New Emotion.
Chapter 12
Finally done with the crappy class full of students and their screaming, screeching voices, and dirty crying, I needed silence. Period. I started the next day I tripped Valarie on the floor which still gives me the pride of satisfaction, and since then I have been taking the lesson for children around the age of six to fourteen. Now calculative five days in this hell since I stepped my first foot on my father's property and the aim to already wanting to go back home, and shut out all the doors to stay alone seems the most appealing idea for now. Even if it crept me out sometimes, I still am used to be in my personal space and by myself without letting anyone enter the boundary which is already sealed around me.
I turn towards the long hallway and breath the air of relief when I hear no sound coming from any of the classrooms. Stuffing my hands in both the pockets, I breathe in a big inhale and just on the verge of letting it out feels stuffy when I hear the sound of many children running in the long-ass corridor in front of me and the breath of air turns into a huff of anger. The quiet environment long gone. The loud happy screaming, the laughter irking on each face would be a cute scenario for the others but a totally different scenario for me. A person who is repellent to children, their voice is no less than a sting to my ear which I want to erase from my system as soon as possible.
I start walking with my hands covering both my ear and fast on my way out of the corridor in actual hope of silence. I stop my footing when I pass the big door which leads to a complete contradiction than before. The sight of the freshly watered backyard seems the only moment of serene to feel and think correctly. Closing my eyes and letting the breathy air hit my face gently, a so pleasant voice reaches my ear making them have their own mind and my mouth letting out a sigh on the very sound complimenting the scenery in front of me. The hearing seems low which only indicates that the voice is echoing from the other side of the building.
The Auditorium.
Going with my mere instincts my feet lift themselves and sprint towards the direction, hearing the play of sound increase with each step nearer. There is something in the voice of the singer or the slow beats of it that keeps the flow of calmness and whispering of the foreign words in my ear like the fresh air exhaling itself from the tip of the mountains. The continuation makes my impatient trait surface which finally leads me to the front wooden gate of the auditorium before the time anticipated.
