The Curiousity.

Chapter 21

I notice Ivy taking Valarie away from me, leaving in a hurry, sending me an apologetic smile on her way. It is surprising how she can be so pure and bold at the same time. The incident from earlier keeps replaying in my head again and again making me uneasy from the inside. I have so many questions revolving around my mind about what happened a year ago, though I know for a fact that I just can't. It's not my place. I won't make her uneasy and uncomfortable just for the sake of my curiosity and satisfaction. I will give her both space and time and if she genuinely wants to share her past with me, she eventually will someday.

With that thought, I go back to our cabin where all the boys are busy with one thing or the other. Starting from Aiden he has a beer in one hand and phone on the other, typing to someone. Ethen on the other side is also busy with his phone but watching it more intensely than his brother, and even without looking I could tell he is playing pubg, that's his new profound addiction these days.

Sometimes it's surprising that even if Aiden and Ethan both are twins, there's a vast difference between the two. I have known them both of since forever but still, I cannot take out one similar point in them, well except for their faces. Where Aiden is more of the reserved and silent type, Ethan on the other hand is mostly a jolly and carefree person anyone will ever meet. Ethan reflects all his emotions without any restriction, where Aiden keeps it all to himself while only shows emotions when necessary. But whatever at the end of the day, they are the most connected people you will see even though they are two different poles but still twins.

Without even turning in the other direction, I can tell Lucas is making out with a girl, his all-time hobby. Well, that makes the two of us, but I use girls as a distraction where he uses them as his time pass. Even he has been with me since forever. We all met each other when we were in grade one, our families were friends which makes us friends too, perks of the high-society connections, and since then we are inseparable, even if our parents grew a little apart with time.

They all came down all the way to Canada for me so that I don't do anything stupid while my Dad is around. They have always been with me in both my goods and mostly bad times and for that, I cannot thank them enough, which obviously I won't say in front of their faces.

"Back to Earth Jade" Aiden's voice suddenly jolts me awake from my thoughts.

"Why did you do that Aiden, I bet he was lost in Valarie's thought in his dream!" Ethan perked from the corner now keeping his phone aside. At that moment I noticed that everybody's eyes in the room were on me.

"Maybe thoughts that were streamy to the extent that made us call him five times." I give Lucas a death glare in return on which he just smirks. I roll my eyes at him but obviously, he isn't finished just yet. "Though what's kept you in that head of yours so long? Her on top of you, riding you?" before I could cut him off Ethan spoke again.
