Chapter 33
I wake up with sunshine creeping on my face. I turn to the other side, to feel it cold. I tear my eyes open to see the curtains open while I clearly remember closing them last night.
Last night.
After our talk in that room, Jade carried me back to the room, his scent engulfing my senses in seconds, letting me sleep peacefully. I smile at the memory but still found it strange to not have Jade beside me. I look at the bedside to see it's nine in the morning, a groan escaping my mouth and my head falling back on the pillow with a thud.
A chuckle made me whip my head to the other said, meeting a wet Jade, standing on the doorway, his towel hanging low to his hips. His chest glistering with the few droplets falling from his hair, making its way to the lines of his abs, settling there perfectly, appearing his tattoos to look darker than usual.
A gulp involuntarily escapes my throat but obviously didn't go unnoticed by him. He smirks at me all while watching me intently. And that's when I remembered the open curtains.
"Don't tell me you are a morning person." I say when he starts taking my blanket from me, and I, on the other hand, holding it for my dear life.
"No Jade!" I yelled but he drags me to the end of the bed with the blanket on.
"Leave it Valarie, it's late now." He says annoyingly. I gasp at him.
"Late? Are you dumb? It fishing at nine in the morning, we are on a vacation for goodness sake. Say with me, Vac-Act-Ion." I said, pointing each word at him.
"Yes, I know that well Valarie Frost and all our friends are already waiting for us down for breakfast." He says, rubbing his head.
"You are kidding." I say in disbelief. There is no way Charlott is up so early. She is a bigger sleepy head than me. I tried laying again, but Jade's hand caught my shoulder quickly.
"Valarie Frost get your ass up right now." He says fake serious, making me giggle.
"Geez mom, okay." I say but the next thing I know was him carrying me on his shoulder, my head jolted with the sudden movement.
"Let me tell you who is the daddy then." He answers while carrying me towards the bathroom, each step giving me a perfect view of his ass.
"Mmmm." The hum of appreciation involuntarily comes out my throat, readying my hand for a light spank.
"Don't even think about it baby if you want to leave this room today with your legs supporting completely." He says, and I can practically see the smirk on his face while saying this, ideas probably flowing out of his mind.
He brings me down, making me stand in front of the mirror, handing me a spare brush.
"Freshen up, I will be waiting outside." He says, giving me a small kiss on my cheek and returning back to the room after closing the door. I was still in his shirt from last night, making my stomach flutter a little. I remove my shirt from my body, a gasp instantly coming out of my mouth.
