The Truth-Part two.

Chapter 41

"What did you just say?" Charlott says through gritted teeth now coming back and standing on her previous spot.

"I and Ryan were in the town that whole time." Tears were uncontrollably slipping out of my eye and my head was still bowed down in shame now thinking about what would have happened if I had actually left him before. I felt someone bring their arms around my body and pressing my face on the chest.

"Charlott take a break an-" Before Jade could finish the sentence Charlott's voice cut him off.

"Not right now Augustine, it's between me and her. Don't mess with me right now." Jade's hands tighten around me to gain control but none of the less stopped speaking. I guess he knew better not to start another argument right now.

"Enough!" we all turned our head towards Ethan while he looked at both me and Charlott in disbelief.

"What are you guys five!? I cannot believe you are fighting on something that isn't even being discussed right now. Yes, Valarie made a mistake and everything but you ever thought what were her feelings and mindset at that point? That girl just said that she was in love with that boy and here you are accusing her of breaking up instantly. Is it that easy Charlott? Tell me? I get it you are angry and you have every right I get it, but can you hear and be here for her for now and then take all your anger at the end?" his words left all of us stunned. We never thought he had so many words of wisdom in him.

Charlott as if came to reality and looked at me with guilty eyes. I smiled and nodded at her, telling her secretly that her rant was totally appropriate and that I deserved it.

Everybody went back to their respective seats again, looking to complete the left-off story. I mentally prepared for what was to come ahead.

"Ryan convinced me into taking a break and stay with him. Like a fool, I did as he said at that point. With time he started getting more possessive over me.

Don't go out.

What are you wearing?

Who are you calling?

Be with me only.

The dress is too short

Your makeup is too bright.

At first, I liked this protective side of him, but little did I know that they will quickly replace themselves with,

Are you going out to whore yourself?

What you wear can't even hide your ugly self.
