She wanted answers.

But she couldn't bring herself to ask them.

"So Joshua, did you decide on the course that you want to pursue?" Lucas asked.

"Not yet but I have been debating," Joshua replied.

"I hope you do it fast. It would be easier then."

"Well I've always liked technology so I was thinking about engineering but on the other hand the subject of economics intrigues me as well."

"Those are very good fields. Choose wisely."

Scarlett looked at them completely perplexed.

She could not understand what they were talking about. In Blue Moon Pack, after the teens had completed their high school, they were tested in various fields and accordingly sorted.

There were different members in packs. The alpha was the supreme leader of the pack, followed by the beta. The healer and warriors were analogous to doctors and soldiers. The scholars, like her father, were mainly involved with paper works. Then there were mentors who guided the pups till high school. Her mother was one of them.

But technology and economy were not on the list. Something clicked. She needed to know if she was correct about the assumption.

Lucas turned to Scarlett "I am taking you to the mayor's office tomorrow. So be ready by 10?"

"Thanks for offering but I think I can manage on my own." She replied.

"Letty are you serious? You barely know this place!" Joshua exclaimed.

"I'm accompanying you and that's final." Lucas finished the conversation there.
