The seniors were all gathered near the school building. Mr. Watson intimated them about the whole plan of the day.
Scarlett stood there almost numb. She reminded herself over again that it was for her pack.
"So Joshua please see that everyone follows the rules I just mentioned." Mr. Watson said.
Joshua nodded his head nervously. He turned back and glanced at his home. Zachary would be the perfect one to succeed, he thought.
All the students walked up to the rangers' office and were guided and enlightened about the different sectors. They noted it down. This was done for a better understanding of the arrangement they were a part of.
For the last leg of the visit, the students were to be taken to a nearby human settlement. This was the first for them. The werewolf seniors had never seen a human settlement nor did they have any idea regarding their lifestyle or the complex gadgets they used. Everyone was excited except two.
From the rangers' quarters, they were supposed to travel by bus. Soon the bus was loaded and the engine came to life.
Scarlett could feel tears well up in her eyes. She wanted to run away from all this but it was too late. For the entire ride, she remained quiet.
Two rows ahead and across Scarlett an eighteen-year-old sighed with relief and consolidated his decision.
The tall trees passed by the windows and the afternoon sky was flaked with smoky particles. The chimneys of the ambitious factory came into view and Scarlett turned her face away from the window.
