Chapter 35: Music Taste

What is up peoples? With me just graduated college and moving soon I have been really busy and unable to update. Well let's get into the chapter, shall we?

Jay-Kobes Pov

With the interview finished I head back to the dorm. The boys had solo activities so I figured they should still be out. I stop by a fast food joint to get some fries because fries are the best thing on earth. Pulling my mask up I walk to the line and wait.

     "Next in line please," the cashier says. 

     "Hi, can I have two double-doubles with two orders of strawberry shakes and chili cheese fries please?" I know I was only getting fries but I was hungry and I figured I would get Sunny something too.

     "Your total comes to 17,097.60($15.35 U.S) won. What is the mane for the order?"

     "Fainster." I place my card in and sign my name and wait for my order to be called. I decide to use the username of a TikToker I follow(I am trying to get to 1K followers so I can go live and spread the news about my stories! I am at 590 and need your help my fellow Kpop stans. Please follow or spread the word!). I go on my phone to see the latest news. My hyungs in BTS realized a new English single Butter and has already broken 5 Guinness World Records! I am not surprised because my seniors have worked from the ground up with HYPE Music. However, it makes me think will my group ever be able to reach the same level as my hyungs?

     "Order for Fainster!"

Hearing my order I get the bags and head to the dorms. I arrive at the HYPEbuilding within ten minutes. Making it to the dorm I unlock the door and for the first time, I am met with a quiet dorm. Taking my shoes off I walk into the dining room and see Alex working on something on his computer. 

     "How was the interview with Jessi go," he asked not looking away from the screen.

     "It was good. She seems like the person who would have fun going clubbing with."

     "Like you would know anything about clubbing Jay."

I roll my eyes and get out my food. "Where is Sunny?"

     "Out with Jin Hyung. He came by and take his favorite nephew out for a while. The others should be arriving home shortly."

With Sunny gone, I take his food and place it in the fridge. I then eat my food while looking at my phone. After I was done I clean up and see what Alex is working on. "What are you working on right now Hyung?"

     "I am editing a music video for a group I am working with. There is a lot of little components that need to be fixed before it is released t the public and Youtube."

     "Interesting, I am sure it will turn out great! I mean you know what you are doing."

Leaving him alone I head to my studio and set up my phone. It has been a while since I did a Vlive and I had nothing to do. Setting up the phone I hit start. "Hey, Pandemonium! It is your cute and innocent bean Jay-Kobe. It has been a while since my last live, so I wanted to check in with you all. How is everyone? Good, I hope."

I see thousands or comments coming in. I am only able to make out a few.

KpopFanBoy: What do you do on your days off?

S-BeastsWife: Which member are you the closest to?

ToxicFan: Why do you talk about fanboys so much? Are you trying to tell us something? I mean you should only stan male Kpop groups if you are a girl otherwise it is weird.

     "I was only able to see some of your questions with so many coming in. If I do not comment on yours I apologize. To answer the first question. On my days off I like to do lots of things. I like to read and write fanfiction for one. I have been writing for six years now. However, I did not start a Wattpad account and start posting until 2019. I also like to play on my tv and eat food. As for which member am I closest to I would say, Damian. We balance one another. He is the crazy energetic one while I am the one who keeps order in the group." I was going to answer the last one when there was a knock on my door.

     "Hey, Appa can I come in?"

I smile at the camera and go to unlock the door for my son. "Hey Sunny I am doing a V-Live right now. I am answering some questions."

As he comes in I notice he found the food I got for him. "Please be careful with your food in here please. This is where all the music production goes on." He places the food on my counter and gets a chair from the back and moves it next to me. "Wanna say hi? This is live."

     "Hi, Pandemonium! I hope you are in good health!"

The comments start to go crazy saying how cute Sunny was. "Looks like you have some fans of your own Sunny." He blushed.

     "Ok, now to answer the other question I saw. The reason I talk about fanboys so much is that I feel they are underrepresented. I love all my Pandemonium's equally let me say that right now. I do not think a lot of groups give their fanboys a lot of shout-outs. If you notice for most groups the merch is for female fans rather than male. That is why our merch was for male fans. After all, I am a fanboy myself. You also asked if I was trying to tell you something. I do not know what you mean. If you mean sexuality then I am straight as a pole. I do not think it should be weird if a male is a fan of a male kpop group. The last time I checked music is something for everyone to enjoy regardless of what your gender is. If you have an issue with someone's music tastes then keep it to yourself."

     "Preach Appa preach."

There were some questions for Sunny too. After about an hour of being live, I decided to wrap it up. We say bye to the fans and end the live. "Are the other guys back yet?"

     "Yea they got back when I did."

We get up and head downstairs to see the boys on the couch.

     "Yo, what is up leader?"

I smile and make my way down. "Sup guys how was your day?"

     "Good, I was working with a solo artist and get some tips on a song I am making," said Jordan.

     "What type of music do you guys like? I know Kpop but what type of western music," Sunny asked walking over to us.

     "Well I like rap," said Joseph.

Quiet as ever I see. He is the one in the group who talks the least, but when on stage he becomes a different person. 

     "I like Jazz. t is relaxing and makes for a calming atmosphere," said Damien.

     "HipHip is my taste in music. Always has since I was little."

     "Yea Jordan I feel the same. I like pop sings too. Your turn Jay-Kobe."

It is hard because I like a lot of music genres. "That is a hard question. First I like country because my grandmother would always listen to it. I am also a fan of music from the 80s and 90s because of my mom. The thing I do not like is rap. Not to say it is all bad, but when it has an extreme amount of vulgar language. When a rap song has the F word used all the time it gets annoying." That is how the rest of the day went. After talking about music, we all chose a movie on Netflix and ended up falling asleep on the couch.
