Chapter 15: Graduation

Hey, back at it again with another chapter like always! Ok, let's get into it, shall we?

About a month has gone by since our group performed at the orphanage. Since then we have done a couple of concerts and interviews all over Korea. On our days off I would go to the orphanage and pick up Sung-ho and bring him back to the dorm to hang out. I just had to make sure he was back before ten. 

He has gotten closer to me to say I am like the appa he always wanted but never had. I have plans to adopt him, but we are busy right now. I have his room set up now to.

We also have been working on our first comeback as a group. The dance was hard, but the end result is what everyone wanted. Alex is with Tomorrow by Together right now, helping with their new album. School has been going well too because we are going to be having our graduation tomorrow. The trip back will be short because the group has the comeback coming up. I am currently playing a game on my Ps4 when my phone starts to ring. It was Sung-Ho. I answer the phone as I see his face.

     "Hey, Appa."

So cute, I think to myself. "Hey, Sung-ho, what's up, buddy?"

     "Not much is going on today. Hey, guess what? I got a one hundred on my math quiz today!"

     "See, I told you you would do good."

     "Are you going to be able to pick me up and hang out today, Jay?"

I wish I could, but we are super busy with the comeback and my graduation. Plus, I do not want him to see his room yet. That is if he says yes when I ask him. "Sorry bud, we are really bust right now. The pandemic has to go to America tomorrow for our college graduation. After we get back, we have to get ready for our comeback."

     "Oh ok, good job on your graduation, and good luck on your comeback."

He seems disappointed, and his sad face hurt me a little. "Hey, don't look so sad, Sun. I will be back for your birthday and we will spend the whole day together! I even have your presents ready!" I have the adoption papers with me and signed. All Sung-ho needs to do is say yes and sign his name.

     "You got me presents?" He asked, surprised as if he had never gotten presents before.

     "Of course I did little guy."

     "I am not little, I will be thirteen soon."

I laugh "Oh sorry mister teenager to be. Anyway, I have to go buy some things for the trip. I will see you on your birth. Bye." I wave and hang up. The guys are out getting some things for the trip, I decided to call Jimin to see if he wants to go with me. "Jimin-Hyung, are you busy?"

     "Not really why?"

     "I need to go buy a few things. Wanna come with me? We gat grab some lunch too."

     "Sure, I will meet you in front of the Big Hit building."

I grab my wallet and head out the door to meet with Jimin-Hyung. When I get down, I see his pink hair and his gray coat. "Hey hyung, shall we get going?"

     "Lead the way, Jay-Kobe."

Time skip to lunch

We found a small coffee to sit down at. Hyung got a small bagel while she got a sandwich and a caramel frappuccino. 

     "So, how long will you guys be gone?" Hyung asked.

     "Only a day because we have the comeback coming up."

     "Have you told Sung-ho about adopting him yet?" 

I had told BTS about it. Most of the management and its groups knew. "No, I want it to be a surprise. I hope he will say yes." After eating, we say goodbye. I get back to the dorm to everyone watching a movie.

     "Hey Jay-Kobe, come watch the movie with us," Jordan says.

I decided why not and go sit on the couch. We had a movie Matheron until it was dark. "Guys, it is time to wrap it up. We have to get up early tomorrow."

     "You all heard Jay-Kobe. Time to hit the sheets," said Angel, and everyone went to their rooms.

The next morning, I woke up before the others. I wanted to make sure everyone packed everything. I got all the members up, and we made it to the airport. Once on our jet, the members fell back asleep while I went over paperwork and details for our comeback and Sung-ho's adoption.

Another Time Skip

When we landed, my parents were there waiting for me. the other member's families picked them up. "Why have I not heard from you all since I left Emmoa?"

     "Our phones broke, and we just got new ones. Sorry about that. We are so proud of what you have accomplished, Jay."

Making it home, I get the door for my parents and walk in. The house looked the same as when I left.

     "How long are you here for?" My Appa asked.

     "Only for graduation, I am afraid. Oh, I do have some things to tell you." I told them about Sung-ho and how I plan to adopt him. They were a little skeptical because I was so young, but they were happy in the end. I say good night and head to my room. The time difference is killing me. The next morning, I get up and get some food. 

     "Good morning, son. I have your graduation gown."

     "Thank you, Appa."

I eat and then get it on. We head to the college now because it is a very early morning graduation. I smile because my blue hair matches the gown. We make it there, and it starts. Names are listed off, and we all clap.

    "Angel Storm." 

     "B."

     "C."

     "Damian Lopez."

I clap for my friend and the others who follow. It was funny at J's because two of my friend's names started with J.

     "Joseph Alexander, Jordan Smith."

More names, and then it was the P's.

     "Park Janghyuk."

 I walk up to the stage and shake the principles hand and get my degree. 

     "Do not forget Janghyuk and his group Pandemic have their comeback soon. Make sure to watch on Youtube." He says, making me laugh. 

I met up with my parents and they hugged me. Heading back home we all have a big dinner with all the members and our parents. Soon we say good night because we have to go back to Korea in the morning.

     "Good night, Eomma and Appa."

     "Good night, dear."
