Hey guys, as promised I am back with another chapter. So, let's get into it, shall we?

Edited

Mornings are the worst. You are pulled from a peaceful slumber into a harsh reality of despair. Wow, that sounded really grim and depressing. I get out of bed, turning off my alarm clock, and getting dressed. It was 9:30 so I had some time before class started. Walking down the stairs, I see Alec eating. I waved and went to the fridge to get some hot wings, white rice, and pesto. Pesto and white rice are the best combinations ever, well, I think so.

Getting my food ready, I walk to the table and start eating.

"How are you doing this morning, leader?" My brother asked.

We talked about it last night with everyone and the staff. It was decided I would be the new leader of Pandemic. Everyone, including Angel, agreed with the choices, and it was done. "I'm fine. I have class in a few, so I wanted to get some food before school."

"You are eating white rice and pesto. That is nasty, bro."

I look up at him. "If you have never tried it, you can not talk shit. It is really good you should try it."

"Yea, no, I am good, thanks. Now finish up you have class soon."

I finish my rood and turn to him. "Yea, Appa." He snickered and walked back to my room. I set up the computer and logged on to Zoom in for class. Later, after class was over, I did the homework. I did my American Sign Language final and other work. I still have to do my law finals, but they have not been assigned yet.

Working on more homework, I wonder about my group. Will I be a good leader? No. there is no need for thoughts like that. I will be the best I can, no matter what. While doing homework, I decided to blast Highlight on my sneakers. I was now listening to an old song of theirs called Good Luck. I have a mini-concert while doing my work. After I got my homework done, I got a shower and got ready for the day. Getting in, I let the hot water run off my body.

Drying off, I fix my hair and get ready. I wear blue jeans with a black shirt and Nike's. Walking downstairs, I see everyone waiting for me. "Sorry, guys, I had to be some finals and get a shower." Joseph looks at me with a smirk on his face.

"Come on, you need to manage your time better. We have to get the interview leader."

"You're so funny. My bad, I had finals. I guess I will just drop out," I say half-heartedly.

"Ok, let's go, Jay," my brother said, and we headed off. Before leaving, I get my black Michal Khors jacket because it is cold.

Piling into the van, I sit in the back and think about the interview. They will probably ask standard questions like how we formed and other random things. I am tired, so I decide to lean my head against the window and dose off. Soon enough, we arrive at the station and get out of the van. We are going to be on a talk show today.

We head into the building and meet the staff and management. Then, of all people, Brianna Lopez walks up and greets us. "What the hell are you doing here?" I say with disgust in my voice.

"I work here, obviously. I will be your interviewer today."

Out of everyone, it has to be her. As much as I would like to leave, it would look bad on the group. I will act polite and show respect despite our past and my disliking for her. I am a professional, after all. "I look forward to the interview, Miss Lopez. I only ask you to show my members respect."

"Whatever, just get ready. I want this to be over with."

That makes two of us. We head backstage to get our make-up and hair done. While sitting in the chair, I decided to play games on my phone. I can tell all the members are unhappy about the situation. I can hear Damien talking about next to me.

"Who does she think she id, huh? If he said anything rude, I swear I will cu - " I cut him off.

"You will not do anything to her. If asked something ride, we will handle it as professionals." I look at the rest of the group. "I do not like this any more than you guys. Anything rude we do will reflect on Big Hit. We are idols and will act accordingly. Is that understood?" They all shake their heads.

"Pandemic, you are on in three, two, one," the producers yell.

Quickly getting changed into a white shirt and black dinner jacket and tie, I get the clothes on. I hear everyone counting down signaling things are going on air.

"Hi, there, folks, and welcome to the show. I am your host, Brianna Lopez. Today I have some very special guests. Please help me welcome the Pandemic!"

We ran out, and fans cheered as we waved to everyone. We all stand, and Angel and I do the greeting.

"Once you are infected," he started.

"There is no going back." I finished. "Hello everyone, we are Pandemic!" We all say and begin introductions.

"I am your guardian sent from heaven, Angel."

"Yo dropin' those fresh beats its J-Drip in the house." He then struck a cool pose.

"So fly, so fresh, so beast. S-Beast here." As usual, very catchy.

"Here to harvest your love, Reaper." He makes himself look mysterious.

It was my turn. "Hi guys, I am you cute and innocent bean Jay-Kobe."

"Now, as I understand, there was a change in leadership. Can you tell us about that?"

I look at Angel, and he answers the question. "You see, Jay-Kobe here does a lot in the group from producing and writing songs. He does a lot, and it was decided that he became the new leader of Pandemic."

"Ok, Jay-Kobe, tell us about ya'lls debus song. What was that about?"

"The purpose of the song was to announce our presence. As you know, we are all from America, and I wanted our song to represent us and show the industry we are here to stay. Like us or hate us, we are not going anywhere."

"Pandemic's song Out Break made it to number one billboards. What did that feel like?"

Damien answers this question.

"We thought it was a dream. With our group having just debuted, the thought of our song would make it to the billboards, let alone number one out of one hundred." He said.

We continued to answer more questions, and everything was going smoothly.

"Jay-Kobe, having known you in middle school, I wanted to know. How is your anger doing? You used to lash out a lot as kids."

Oh, this woman, I swear. "Anger is not something that goes away. It can only be controlled. Over the years, I found a healthy outlet. When I get mad, I write in my journal that I keep on my person at all times." I pull out the journal to show the audience. "I also like to write fanfiction on Wattpad. I like the user VampireLord_2101 personally."

"Coming from a poor family, it just has been hard. With your father being an alcoholic at the time. Please tell us what that was like. It must have been hard on you, especially with your brother gone."

She was starting to test my limits, but before I could answer, my brother came out.

"Excuse me, that is extremely inappropriate."

The crowd started to boo her for asking such a rude question. After that time, the cameras ran out, and the cameras turned off. She did not bat us an eye and walked away. "Come on guys, time to go home."

I hope you all enjoyed the chapter. Until the next chapter, readers, VampireLord2101 out!
