Chapter 21: Camping trip

Hi guys!! Been a while, sorry school is really kicking my ass. So, in recent news, this story was awarded second place in the Rosette awards 2021! Ok now let's get into it, shall we?

Jay-Kobe's Pov

Two months after the new year, our around the U.S. tour was over. BTS went to a couple of our shows but had to head back to Korea after a few days. While we were on tour, they released their song Dynamite. The members and I stayed up to watch the official video, and it was awesome like normal. We are currently on our plane heading back home to rest before our schedule is booked again.

     "Hey, Appa, what happens when we get back to Korea," my son asked with his head leaning on my shoulder.

     "Well, we have to get you registered for school and get your supplies. You still have a week until school starts, though." I was leaning against the window about to head to sleep when Damien started a conversation with me.

     "Jay-Kobe, if Sunny does not have school for another week, then we should do something."

I groan at the thought, This tour was existing, and I just wanted to rest. With that being said, I wanted to do something fun before Sunny started school. Not that I will tell Damien that. "Ok, what do you propose?"

     "How about we go camping? I know BTS will be busy, but we could invite Tomorrow by Together. I remember you said your brother is done working with them and will be free to."

I thought about the idea and it sounds fun. To have the younger group and my brother together camping and spending time together. "Does that sound ok to you, Sunny?"

     "Yea, it sounds great! I have never been camping before and have always wanted to go."

     "Ok, it is settled them!" Damien exclaims with excitement.

With that taken care of, I close my eyes and fall asleep with Sunny's head leaning my arm. What seems like moments later, I am shaken awake by Joseph.

     "Jay, we landed, are getting off. We are waiting at the front for you."

I just closed my eyes, and now we are here? I think I need to go to the doctor about this. I get out of my seat and head to the front of the plane. Everyone gets their masks and sunglasses on and walk out of the plane into that airport. I have Sunny's hand as we are met with camera flashes and fans.

Our security acted fast, clearing a path for us to get through. My brother texted me before we left, saying he would pick us up. After getting through the mob of fans, we make it to the van and get in. Alex starts the van, and we head off.

     "Welcome back home, you guys. The tour went well, I presume?"

Before I can answer, Damien beats me to it.

     "Of course it went well. We are the Pandemic, the greatest group in Korea!"

I laugh a little at his response. "Yes, Alex, it went well. Sunny had a fun time, too, right, Sunny?"

     "Yea, America was amazing! The best part was I met grandma and grandpa!"

During the tour, Appa and Eomma surprised us when we were in Dallas. While performing, I saw them in the front row wearing out t-shirts and holding biohazard sticks.

     "What happened to you saying Hyung to me, little brother. I am so hurt by that action," he said, trying to sound heartbroken.

While I grew up speaking Korean, I switched around when adding Hyung to Ales's name. Not that he minded. We make it back to Big Hit and get out heading to the building elevator to our dorm. Making it to our dorm, I turn in the key, and the members walk in while I hold the door. I go to my room and place my stuff away. I walk down the hall.
