Chapter 18: The American Music Awards

Hey, peoples I know it has been a while since the last update. I have been trying to brainstorm since the last chapter. I think I have something now. Ok, let's get into the chapter, shall we? 

Making it back to the dorm, we were all tired. Performing was great, but it was exhausting at times. Everyone was too tired to cook, so the leftovers were for dinner. Sunny had never had eaten wings before, and because it was an American staple, he never had one.

     "Do we have any barbeque wings left or just buffalo?" Jorden asked. 

     "Yea, we do. Why?" Angel amswerd.

     "Because I don't want Sunnys wing to be hot." He exclaimed.

   Angel gets the wing and heats them up. He brings the bowls over along with plates. I get up and get everyone a drink, and we start eating. I go for the hot ones first, and I see Sunny get some of each flavor. We have hot, barbeque, and honey wings. "How are they, Sunny?"

     "They are amazing. My taste buds are exploding with different flavors. The food at the orphanage was bland and lacked flavor. I think I want to travel to America if the food is this good."

     "Maybe you can go with us the next time we have a tour there. Do you know any English?" Jordan asked.

     "Yes, I took English classes at the orphanage. I also learned by watching American cartoons like the Avatar (Yes it is a cartoon NOT an anime)."   

We started talking more about songs and other things when my phone went off. I looked down to see if I was the manager. "I will be right back, guys." I walk to my room and answer the phone.

Jay-Kobe: Yoeboseyo, Janghyuk speaking.

Manager: It's me, Ji-Sung. I wanted to let you guys know you will be going to America for a tour tomorrow.

Jay-Kobe: What time?

Manager: In the afternoon ok I will see you guys then.

I hang up and walk back to the table. "Looks like you will get your wish sooner than you think, Sunny. Boys, we are heading to the U.S. to start our across the states tour."

     "What are the odds of that?" Joseph said.

Sunny looked at me with a smile.

     "School is our for winter break, so that will not be an issue."

     "Ok, everyone, time to pack, then head to bed."

Time skip to the next morning

Sunny ended up getting in my bed last night. I get up and get ready to get our things in the living room. All the members were already there suppressing me. "Funny to see you guys out before me."

     "We set our alarms this time. You get Sung-ho, and we will get the bags to the van."

I thank Angel and go to my room to get Sunny. He did not want to get up, so I picked him up and walked to the van. We make it to the jet and pile in with the staff getting our stuff. 

Time skip

We arrive in the States. Getting off the plane, we are met with fans and flashes. Sunny was waning to people as we were walking. Making it to the van, it takes us to the hotel. We are in California to start our tour. I had never traveled when  I was a kid, so  I was glad to do a tour around my country. Getting to the hotel, I get our room keys and give them to the guys. It went Angel and Damien, Joseph and Jordan, and me and Sung-ho. Sunny and I get to our room, and  I start setting up my equipment to work on some songs while Sunny watches tv.

After about an hour, I start to get hungry. "Hey, Sunny wanna go get something to eat?"

     "Sure, I could go for some food."

I text the other guys if they want to get some food. They must be asleep because they never miss an opportunity to get food. After all, food is life. I get my mask and head out with Sunny to find a place to eat. While walking, I find a local sushi place and walk inside. The host takes us to a table and takes our order.

     "Oh my gosh, you are Jay-Kobe from Pandemic! What can I get for you two?"

     "I will take a beef bowl and a coke zero, please." Sunny looks unsure on what to get.

     "I will have the same thing as my appa, please."

She walks off, and I talk to Sunny. "You happy to be in America?"

     "Yea! I have heard cool things about your home country. Were you worried about moving to Korea for the first time before you debuted?"

     "I was a little because I had never been there before. I already spoke Korean, so it helped, but everything was all new to me." We talked more until the food came. We ate our food and I paid for the meals when everything was done. Heading back, I look at my phone and see a text from our manager in the group chat.

     "Start to get ready to head to the AMA's."

Getting back, I can hear the others in the rooms getting ready and  Ido the same. I put on my dress shoes and tux. I hand Sung-ho a tux his size and told him to go change. After we are ready, the group heads to the van.

     "This is going to be lit! So many famous people will be there." Damien said with excitement.

     "Yes, make sure be on your best behavior. We are professionals after all," Angel said.

The car stops, and we get out and walk on the red carpet. While walking, we see man faces like Lady-Gaga, Christina Aguilera, and other famous artists. We stop to take pictures and walk to our seats. The show started, and celebrities sang their songs on stage. Sunny did not know any of them, but the rest of us sang along. After a couple of performances, it was our turn, so we walked to behind the stage and got ready.

     "Next, we have a group from Korea. They are here on their states tour around the U.S. Under the same label as BTS and all members from the good old USA. Making their United States debut tonight, please help me welcome Pandemic!"

Walking out to the stage, we wave and get into position and wait for the music to start. It starts, and we spring into action. Moving as one around the stage showing our energy and passion, we sang/rapped. By the end of the song, people were clapping like normal, meaning this was a good start to our tour.
